As someone with ADHD, listening and replying is my worst hurdle in language learning. I also feel embarrassed about asking people to speak slowly often, so your content is a blessing. It allows us with wires crossed to process on our own time and prepare better to connect with others and a culture. Thank you, truly.

As someone else with ADD, I feel exactly as you do and I'm grateful to have found this KZbin channel. I practice on Duolingo everyday but it just isn't enough. I'm doing great learning to read Spanish, but I will be moving to a Spanish speaking country, and it won't be enough to be able to read. It's difficult to understand people speaking to me in what for them is a normal speed. Not a great way to make friends.

It's a good phrase to ask someone to practice asking someone to speak more slowly es normal in any language we learn.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Omg this is amazing. I am currently at a language school in Colombia in my first week learning spanish and this has been recommended to the students to listen to for 15-20 minutes a day consistently for listening practice. Muchísimas gracias!

FINALLY found a video that speaks slowly enough for me to grasp what is going on. Every other video I’ve tried that said “slow speaking Spanish” was not slow. At least not slow enough for a beginner trying to learn. I can read the words okay but it is still difficult to pick out the words when listening!! Thank you for this video!

Good video! My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

After about 10 Hrs. of class, my spanish teacher gave me task for listening and understanding A1 Level Spanish Video. But problem with all those are that they are fast. At A1, are we expected to think in Spanish? I believe no. We translate. & to translate we need slow speeches like these. Thanks a lot for being thoughtful.

This is a late comment but I feel so bad for Alberto. He has to get up at 4:30 DE LA MAÑANA!!! D: I could never! Edit: Thanks for the slow audio. I could understand basically every word and makes me feel like I'm good at spanish. Then I go listen to some natives and yikessss. But at least I know I understand A1 level material! :D Also, why is it that I can read spanish pretty decently (at least easier texts), I can write okay but I still make mistakes, but I can't speak well??? Whenever I try to speak spanish I freeze up.

Thank you! I love the different points of views this gives and I always love basic routines (even in english). To be able to describe what you do everyday is very helpful. To up my listening, after I can listen and understand these as you give them, I start listening at a higher speed with the options here on youtube, then when I can understand the faster versions I listen without looking at the words.

Do Spanish/ Mexicans appreciate it when a British person tries to speak their language? I’m going on holiday to the cancun soon and I don’t want to be one of those people who expects everyone to speak English, it’s rude. Just wondering, if I get some words wrong which I will, would they appreciate me trying?

They probably will since it's respectful to speak Spanish to the locals. Sadly when I went to Spain last time, I was too shy to actually speak Spanish.

It literally just happens naturally.. you’ll get there.. just immerse, and learn 10 new words (in context) everyday.. that’s the most important thing..
@speaklikeamexican1587
@speaklikeamexican1587 3 жыл бұрын
You have to learn more verbs and vocabulary with the context. I recommend to watch and get immerse with the things that you like. For example: now i´m learning russian and i´m watching videos of how to create content from youtubers that explain it in russian.

That totally depends upon how much patience you have and how much time you invest in practice. This is a good method. Use the KZbin tools to speed up or slow the video down as is necessary for you.
