The strongest attribute for me is probably being able to make adjustments on the fly like moving my eyes and feet or even slowing or speeding up my ball speed.

Strongest attribute willing to play anywhere I need to on the lane to score. Also open minded to new technology and ways of thinking. I will never be the old guy complaining about modern equipment or styles of play

I feel like the strongest part of my game is understanding the ball motion, even though I’m not accurate enough to recreate shot after shot Im pretty good at managing the transition

I move around and change my balls more than I change my underwear where a lot of people seem really hesitant to make changes. I know I have trouble altering rotation or speed like others can do so I use the tools I have to compensate for that. I'm working on slowing down because that is the biggest change in my game I've noticed and if I can slow it down I can hammer the pins.

To answer Brandon’s question I’m good at a lot of things but mainly rev rate and speed and foot adjustments things I need fixing is axis rotation and tilt adjusting

Learning to grind when things aren't going my way. Starting to understand the game front to back instead of side to side which is what I first learned 50 plus years ago when I started. Understanding ball motion by watching many of your reviews has helped me get my game into the right century. Thanks!

I try to be a ‘good’ student of the game. Enjoy watching ur videos. I like/use brands of Brunswick stuff. Just got the Scheme, don’t have may frames on it yet. Going to tournament this weekend, Highway to hell v2 is oil pattern. Going to take it and try to start with it. Agreed with ur comments, I thought it needed oil…a starter ball. Also enjoy ur training. Have been working on adjusting position on approach…and have been having success. Bowled 8 gammer last weekend and my closer (Night Prowler) I was about 3’ up from normal staring position, and was very happy with what I was seeing. Have to laugh though, my ‘rocket to the pocket’, back on approach, around 12 mph🤣. Never been speed dominant. Thank you for sharing ur knowledge, showing what new balls are doing…enjoy ur videos. JP

I have learned to match my revs and release to my ball speed so that I have a nice controllable hook. And, I do not have to throw is hard or fast. Just stay nice and smooth with my form and release.

being a two hander, i got a lot better at moving left and slowing down my speed. and now that i think about it, i actually get a solid amount of strikes during practice, i just need to practice the spares to stay clean more often.

I am good at prolonging the usability of a line with loft. rather than moving or changing balls, 'air don't hook' gets me deeper into a set without dramatic changes.

im still pretty young, however one of my strongest attributes is most likely making the 10 pin prolly about 90% or more of the time, about one of the only things i do good, other than be able to put more hand into the ball and change the rev rate if needed.

Is the hyroad a good step up from an entry-level ball? (Entry level such as a Brunswick Rhino or Storm Tropical Surge) I am a low speed, low rev player looking for a medium oil ball.

I have some rookie questions. I’ve been bowling for quite a few years but am just now really kinda diving into “how” to bowl. I’m a 190-200 bowler on house with probably a slower ball speed. Is it true that I should be looking into balls with higher RG and probably more of a symmetrical core than assym? I realize it can’t always be the case but in what scenario would I make a change? I’m a lefty with no other lefties on league night. My arsenal is a proton physix (assym) and a hammer scandal (symm) and am thinking about buying the Altered Reality. Thoughts guys? Anyone feel free to chime in please

That's a lot to unpack but the next ball to buy conversation should happen with your local pro shop guy who can better understand your needs from seeing you throw and the lane pattern you bowl on. As for when to adjust, that is a great idea for a video which we will be doing soon.

@@brandondriley appreciate it. But I bowl in a small town where there isn’t a pro shop or one close. I’m visiting one this weekend however so I guess we’ll see how in depth he is. Thanks
