The 12 foot cone weave enables you to start turning and leaning the bike, aka swinging and swaying. The off set cone weave begins allowing the student to develop the technique and skill known as "tear dropping" which is used by motor officers to make confined space maneuvers. No rear brake should be used in either of these exercises, no throttle is needed especially if a rider wants to master total clutch control with proper throttle engagement. This allows the operator to place as little wear and tear on his or her motorcycle as possible, such as heating the clutch plates, wearing the brake pads, and heating the rotors. Head and eyes are always up, sit high in the saddle for center of gravity, no counter balance is needed (always stay center of gravity), make sure your posture is as square as possible, and look where you want to go. Bike placement is important inside cone patterns so make sure to use all your real estate inside the patterns. Breathe, Relax, and have fun. Train hard, Ride safe!!
