That’s me exactly. I have been on two wheels over 30 years. But I know I can’t do this and I need to be able to. Big respect to this guy for making a huge improvement to his skill set and being able to admit he needed it.

Hey brother, thank you for the kind words. I cant wait to release some new videos of some brand new riders, and what they were able to accomplish in the first hour on a touring size bike let alone after 4 hrs of training with total clutch control. It just takes time to get it all together.

I have practiced TCC and took other classes that were motorcycle officer centered. Found 1 guy teaching precision riding so i fiqured ibwould take the class. Liw and behold TCC was on the menu for 2 days. Yep. 2 days of brakeless? Throttle less class. Game changer. Learn TCC and off you will go out of the land of confussion and all kind of acceleration , rear brake, friction zone go away.

I am seeing more training courses and youtube channels starting to drift toward advising and mentioning Total Clutch Control and talking how the rear brake is not needed if total clutch control and proper throttle engagement is developed. It really is super easy to develop if done in the right manner. Wait til u see some brand new riders in upcoming videos and what they are doing in less than an hour.

The way he's started out is the way I'm driving now. I was able to turn my head when I took the course, but somewhere along the way I've lost the head turn and handlebar turn skill completely. I gotta get out there and practice, practice, practice! Good video I felt myself fall, when he fell. Especially when he fell out after dropping the bike again!

Great demonstration Jay. Props to the rider for having the “guts” to learn. I can empathize with him as for fours years straight, after I started riding again, I dragged (I.e. mashed) the brake the whole time I did u turns and circles with the rpms high and clutch fighting all the way. If I pulled in the clutch 1/32” down I went. I practiced my @ss off and that just embedded the bad habits. In 2021 started learning TCC and this guy accomplished in 4 hours what it took me 2 years to relearn. And while I am much better now, I still fight the urge to be on that rear brake when I don’t need it. My message to those who will listen: Learn TCC first and your skills will develop with quality. PRACTICE CORRECTLY, PRACTICE CORRECTLY, PRACTICE CORRECTLY.

Just ordered my drop guards and gonna start practicing TTC after I install them. I can do 18’ u turns but with the assistant of the rear brakes. I want to master the TTC.

Thats awesome! TCC is not hard to learn, its just practice and makes such a huge difference in your skill level.

As I began my own training I didn't go back to my own videos and watch myself. It was key for me to go back and rewatch my own mistakes to see them and then correct them. Great teacher you have and I have for my 'wing. Keep learning and practicing.

So, this is the opposite of what Jerry "Motorman" teaches. He uses friction zone, a little throttle, rear brake. With TCC, are you not using the brake or throttle at all?

Great video, as always Jay. Any tips you can say on your videos while watching someone would help us all a lot. Example, When to engage the friction zone and how much. Thank Jay. This is Sultan from Egypt. Really enjoyed your videos. I have an inquiry; How can I use the clutch control only at first gear without throttling or acceleration. Is this only available in Harley with that has big torque since I am having Honda Steed, and tried the clutch without the throttle but it didn’t works as shows.

It takes practice to develop the clutch control. Each bike is different but with practice it can be done.

love it love your technique of total clutch control and no break, question I drive a bmw r18 which does not run smooth in first gear it bucks a bit, so i need some pre load is that okay? otherwise i think it will tip over when it is running rough or skipping a beat

Thats up to the individual rider. We recommend removing them as we do not know the level or riding strategy of ever rider. I leave mine on at all times as do many folks who train. Train hard, Ride safel

Took a beginner class and became an instructor with no real skills? It's no damn wonder there are so many unskilled riders on the streets today. Back when I did my road test i had to successfully maneuver through a course designated off the motor officer cone setup. It was tight and the bike I had at tte time was cone to cone, front to back through the corners. I passed that road test with a 100% score. Even if had a cop tell that must mean you're a better rider than me. I learned how to ride first on a bicycle then in the dirt on motocross style dirt bikes.

I can see where you think that. But to teach a beginner takes patience and there arent many willing to get certified to do it for the low pay. Im an MSF instructor as well, as inwanted to know what it is that thenstate mamdates. AND i did see some who should not be teaching. But its a basic rider course and the instructors advisel the students to gain more education aNd training, which is what he was there to do. I totally respect someone who as an instructor gets out and seeks more training, as he was there to do. He knew he needed to train more. He has only been teaching a year and only teaching what the state mandates for a rider. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

Good video. The only constructive criticism i have is not have a newbie try to do a 18ft turn starting off. Start off with 25 or even 30 until they are comfortable and then work your way down.

He wasnt a newbie..he has been riding for 35 yrs..HE was already doing 25 ft u turns..18 foot u turns are easy to learn and can be done in less than an hour, many times as quicklynas 15 mins, when total clutch control is developed. Thanks for watching. Train hard, Ride safe

Hello, 1 inch amd it has made no differemce in turning and leaning the motorcycle even for 16.5 foot turns.
