Hey awesome kit. I just purchased it a while ago and got all my parts printed and cut out. Any chance you could do a wing build video? This is actually my first foam plane build and just not quite sure how you put together the main wing. Thanks

Build the left and right wings, then you join them. Use carbon rods for leading and training edges. It is similar to the Flite Test builds. I will look into doing a wing build video.

I used to fly the old aluminum body version of this slow stick with my grandpa. It was a blast and the memories will never be forgotten. I do not have access or the ability to 3D print. I know it might be a pain but would you be willing to print and sell me the parts used for this? This would be a great project to do with my son to start another generation in flying. Pretty please 🙏

Thanks for the details. I have seen your Slow stick with aluminum square tube. Do you have the .stl? I can not find easily arrows with 7,5mm diameter.

Yes, I still have the original GWS Slow Stick that came with the aluminum square tube. They stopped making them back in 2007 or so. Did you see the parts listed on the Printables site? The arrows are made in China. Make sure you are checking the outer diameter, as often they list them with the inner diameter.

The battery and hardware are listed with the STL files. The battery is a 3S 2200mAh and will give you 14-15 minutes flying.

All up weight with 2200mAh 3S pack is 980g -- this includes full FPV system, OSD, GPS. I am using a heavier foam than most as well as lots of packing tape to water proof the foam board. I am super happy with it. I hope this helps. I would love to see and hear about other builds. Please post up on Printables some photos and details of your build. Thanks!

I have just purchased the files, but unfortunately there is a lot of information missing. The Wing PDF has no dimensions (it also needs to be tiled for A4). There are also no instructions i.e do you cut the arrow shaft to a specific length and what is the distance between each component i.e motor to wing spacing, CG etc

Hey, thanks for the support. The PDF pages are scale 30" x 20" -- you can tile print them using Adobe Acrobat Reader -- that way you can select A4 or Letter or what ever paper you are using. You do NOT need to cut the arrows -- they should be 31" long. The distance of each component are NOT critical and but if you look at the photos and video you will see the order they go in. This is the most important part. As will any Slow Stick, you can adjust on the stick where you like them and to help balance the plane. As for the Motor to main wing... if you see in the video and photo all the parts at the front are touching each other. I hope this helps.

There are several PDF files for the wings. If you are not familiar with DCF files, then just use the PDF.
