Thank you very much for all your videos. I was thinking about a stitch to consolidate a hole or un snag: the festoon stitch. It’s a nice one with several ways to sew it. It’s look very regular that why it reminded me sashiko. Have a nice day 😊

I had never heard of festoon stitch! Thank you so much for sharing❤️ I will definitely check it out! Blackwork also has very similar patterns to Sashiko. Several viewers from India mentioned that Sashiko has similarities to Kantha. It’s so fascinating to learn all those different stitchery techniques🧵🪡😊❤️

Very nice! Love the organic theme to every aspect of your projects. I’d love a tutorial on dying fabric with whatever you have! Curious of parts material, water etc how long to brew the mixture befor putting in fabric , how long does fabric sit in mixture etc

Thank you for your suggestion!❤️ I was originally going to do Japanese audio (my mother tongue) with multilingual subtitles but decided not to do it as I thought it might be hard to watch for non-Japanese speakers. The majority of the current viewers are from non-English speaking countries so it’s hard to decide which language would be the best😅

When it comes to slow stitching, there are no rules! I even use threads for machine sewing🧵🪡 If you are looking for something close to the thickness of a Sashiko thread, you can use a pearl cotton thread (No. 8 or 5) or 2-4 strands of a No.25 embroidery floss.
