You just remind me that it's ok to slow down, it's on to be yourself and do the things you enjoy. I love that you treat yourself with fresh flowers and take the time to reset for the week.

Your videos are always so serene and relaxing, a real treat. I need regular reset days and used to feel guilty, too. The perfect day has no plans beyond following my heart's desires. That may be time spent in nature, but more often looks like coccooning inside with a hot beverage, a good book and a purring cat. A relaxing bath and an afternoon nap are often part of my process, too. I just launched my own KZbin channel and I learned the basics from Ali, too. 😁 Lots of love to you & Hope.

Sounds like bliss. Hot beverage, book, purring cat. I love afternoon naps under a cosy throw, cups of tea, reading, afternoon walks, pottering, cooking roast dinner. I need to try to find a way to slow down more as its hard to fit it all in but when u can its lovely to reset x

I tend to live a reset day frequently - I’m always listening to my body. I mentally listen to what I need in that moment. If I need to relax, I read, meditate or listen to music. If I’m bored I listen to podcasts or a vlog. Full of energy I tidy up, declutter. So I don’t really have a classic reset day, it really depends on what my body and mind need at that time. Hope that makes sense! One day - loved it, so sad though at times. Have a lovely week 🥰

Dear Jessica, I did exactly the same than you: listening at my body, that tells me what to do. After surviving cancer (in my head) I changed my life, but often I fall back on my old routines. But, exactly this week, I talked to my boss in the office and asked him to get a single office for my own because I need more silence to be productive. And do you know what? he gave me one, but what makes me sad is that the colleagues are jealous and didn’t understand my position and my problems after the surgery. But I learned it by day to ignore this. Yesterday I had the same thing today I cleaned the house was alone, read and did the meditation . Today he in Germany is good weather and it was sunny outside at the Terrace. I said outside and was hearing the birds.-and now at the moment that I hear and look your vlog I feel relaxed and good prepared for the new week. Thanks for all your input and I wish you a good start tomorrow in the new week. ❤

Bonjour chère Jessica de Montréal. I am a long-time follower of yours. I wrote to you many times and you always replied very kindly. Today, I just want to say hello and thanks for the great content. I truly admire you. Funny fact: I discovered the series One day last week. At the end, I wanted to write to you and tell you that you must watch that series. I felt I was going to write to a friend to tell her that she should watch because I knew she would like it, although it is very very very sad. Anyway, thank you for the great contents. I also loved your vacation videos, especially the one skying with your mom. Bonne semaine! Bisous.

I don't think i have reset days often, rather reset moments in a week. I usually take a nap or read up on an interesting for me topic, or hot bath with a face sheet mask. Last summer I stayed at a guest house in one of the Benedictian abbeys for my reset time. Peace, tranquility and closure it brought.... it was simply amazing. I am going to get your book and it will be for my next reset moment, Jess!

My reset days consist of Moka Pot made coffee. Might even take a walk for local coffee (like I did this morning just to have 30 mins in the sun) Music, probably Yussef Dayes or Sabrina Claudio. Both totally relax me, or make me think of nice days. A book, or vlogs. I’ve started burning incense paper. Which is so lovely to watch burn! I’ve started thinking of something I want to get rid of and then that feeling is the paper and it slowly burns away. Wear a favourite perfume. And use that expensive shower gel or shampoo for a lux shower!!

Fresh sheets! Yes! My husband does not understand my obsession with how good it feels to slip into a bed with fresh sheets. He says it feels the same as week-old ones lol. Have you read the book Delight by J.B Priestley? If not, I think you will absolutely love it. Clean sheets is one of my delights:)

Hi Jessica, I would say it's more than 'okay' to press pause and take a step back on a fairly regular basis- maybe monthly; its vital for our wellbeing. Our souls need time just to be still and as good as routines are it's good not to have a set agenda for the day once in a while. I love how calming your videos are- have you read The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer?

I used to drink Kusmi decades ago and it is a favorite brand. When in Paris, I was so pleased to find it again. Today is my sheet day! So looking forward to a fresh bed. 😊. A good reset is something I am always trying to find a way to do most effectively. My girlfriend and I were just talking about doing one. We do this periodically and I have found it so helpful. Of course, then it is on to the doing. 😂

Hi Jessica, you can decaffeinate your tea by throwing away the 1st cup and refilling using the same leaves but a 2nd time. I know it seems a waste to throw that lovely 1st cup away but it would be caffeine free. Just a tip x

Awh thank you! Yes I do whiten them. I had braces in my 20s and use my retainer then buy whitener from my dentist. It used to be called nitewhite but I’m pretty sure the one I have now is Phillips. It comes in a syringe. I used to whiten for a week every 6 months but now I just do the odd night here and there. I’ll show you everything in a vlog soon ❤️
