I just acquired a Kenwood KD-2055 and it spins a little bit slow. I thought that the belt needs replacement but found out that it's okay. Now I wonder what causes the slow spin. I don't know yet if the unit has also a speed adjustment mechanism. Anyway I'll check if have time. Thanks for sharing.

Hey there, have a question for you. I got a Sony ps-lx49 turntable and my records are going fast. Turntable itself have two holes for speed adjustment, but when i adjust it the next day it is going fast. Recently i changed belt and it's still same. If anyone have a solution for my problem, please let me know. Thanks

So since this vid is kinda fresh imma give this a shot Ive got a newer Victrola suitcase record player its about a year old and i use it just about every day for 2-4 hours. I noticed a few days ago that its playing all my records ever so slightly slower than they should and i dont have the screws to adjust the speed. Should i try replacing the belt or do you think it might be something else? I love this record player and i love listinging to music on it and i really just need to know whether this one can be fixed or if i should just invest in a new one. Ive spent probably 200$ on records over the last year and it kills me seeing them unplayed and going to waste.

I would look online for any videos that talk about speed adjustment for your particular model. I am thinking there must be a way to adjust. I am not all that familiar with the Victrola. Sorry!

Why are you adjusting by ear? Your turntable has a strobe...

Are you referring to a strobe light? The Lab 340 does not have this.
