I don't think my hearing ever fully recovered from a Slowdive set in Los Angeles - summer of 1993. The aural bliss was well worth it. The comeback tours & album were amazing & the blue haired girl video of Golden Hair is one on the best on KZbin. They are absolutely my favourite band !

I saw them for the 3rd time at primavera Festival this year. My girlfriend and i planned a barcelona trip around that gig and when i finally stood there, in spain, coming all the way from germany, after 3 beers and a burrito, i cried and laughed at the same time, totally overwhelmed by my luck.

thanks man, me too! the drum machine stuff is sick, crazy for you (demo version) is one of our fave songs between the three of us. i still can't choose between the actual release & the demo! i'll stick with both :) & cheers, find it inspiring going out in the world & getting my own footage, makes me feel much closer to the music.

Nice little video. Pygmalion (particularly the B-sides) holds some of my favourite Slowdive material. I love all their albums & heck I own A PS-2 cause they used it & it's a mainstay for ya boi

For me it was “Morningrise.” I saw the video on MTV back then and it was the first shoegaze song I ever heard. It really blew me away. After that, I was obsessed with shoegaze to this day.

They were heaven in Belgium in 2015 ( rock Herk festival). ' Just for a day ' was one of my first cd's, because of catch the breeze. It sounded a bit too new age in my ears back then, I remember, compared to Ride, Inspiral Carpets etc.

Before Simon Scott joined slowdive he was in another band called the Charlottes, in my opinion just as good as slowdive kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zme5pYSNjq6ke6M My favourite slowdive experience would be there 2 nights at the forum in Kentish town in 2014 and O2 in oxford in 2017
