One of the greatest live performances I think I have ever seen. I can't imagine how amazing it must have been for the audience to actually be there at Pitchfork in 2014. And, side note. I love the fact that Rachel disappears once her vocal parts are over, but then when we see her again, she's happily filming the audience. I want to thank Gregg Araki for getting me into Slowdive. Obviously, I was very young when they first came out, too young to truly appreciate this genre of music, but thanks to the discovery of Araki's films, and his amazing taste in music, I have gotten the chance to discover this true diamond of a band.

One of the happiest days of my young life was this year when Slowdive not only reunited, but also decided to include this song into their live repertoire. Mind you, they had never performed this song live prior to 2014 (as far as the records show). Good God is this song so utterly breathtaking. This absolutely is my favorite live number of theirs and to me was the show-stopper for this years' tour. I can only hope they expand on this sound and perhaps record another studio album soon!

Maybe because like alot of people this awesome band through there great phenomonal sound are able too tap into people emotions and moods and connect with them (: But me its not just that they get me teared eyed but this the very first band I heard besides maybe Pink Floyd that has created a very unique and awesomely powerful yet incrediabley emotional moody ambient or elemental sound or harmonics (: There sooo good at it that there sound captures natures elements or forces and make it sound like there speaking or sing too you (: for example for me it sounded like the ocean was singing too me (: Slowdive really made that vision nto a reality through there perfect ambient sound (: A very great band with awesome great songs even better than lush or any other shoegaze band (: The very best (:
