The collared, V-neck jumper is my favorite style (we call these polo necks in the US, but many in the UK call our turtleneck style a polo neck). The V is more flattering in me than a crew neck, and the collar highlights the face. I do love genuine leather trousers, skirts, etc., but I overheat indoors in faux leather ones, then they stick to my sweaty legs, it’s awful. I do have some, but I prefer to wear them in cold outdoor conditions (they’re great for rain). I hope to get a pair of genuine leather trousers, but I’m glad I waited, because I’ve been gradually losing weight over the last few years. My suede skirt is enormous on me now. I wish I had sized down, but that was my first leather bottom piece and I hadn’t realized how much genuine leather can stretch. As for jeans, I really only like white ones! Cream is ok for winter, but white goes with my wardrobe and coloring better.🙂

Thank you so much Kathryn😊 I think it’s about 2 things: finding the perfect fit for you and pairing them with the right tops and shoes. If you feel like they can be too much you could try pairing them with heavy jumpers for Winter or a cotton shirt, and for shoes try converse or sneakers. It’s worth trying😊

Hi Christina, thank you for your comment. I have looked around on the high street and I’m gonna be honest with you, I haven’t found (yet) anything I could recommend to you with a clear conscience. Everything is maximum 70% wool (it’s not bad, but I would go higher) and with polyester lining. Plus prices for such quality start from £250 which I find outrages. I will keep looking and let you know. Never go for a polyester lining with your coats (double face or no lining is better than polyester!)

Hi Christina, I found something, but below £300 it’s almost impossible. First of all, they seem to made my coat in a slightly updated version, which is 100% wool, but lining is poly-viscose (and bear in mind this coat is quite lightweight) www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.1083959009.html (also when you skip to grey the composition is completely different so be aware). The second I found is from a very good polish brand, ethically made in Poland from 100% wool and viscose lining. It looks much thicker and warmer elementywear.com/en/wool-coats/59293-adele-plaszcz-latte.html#product-transparency-section And the third one is double face 80% wool from Arket, very long in a beautiful colour. But now that I’m writing it I think it just sold out😳 But I wouldn’t give up, because clearly they didn’t expect its gonna be so popular, so I would think they will bring a second batch. So that’s me, I hope there is something you like. Remember, your winter coat is an investment for years so don’t settle for just OK, you must LOVE it😁😘
