Flesh and Blood singles are going up up up but boxes aren’t moving. Hold them for another year and they have to move up. It’s impossible to be inverted for that long. If not open them for singles. That is what all stores I talk to do. No more selling boxes. Rip em all.

Impossible? The game is going to 0, like all smaller cards games. I wouldn't hold on to any FaB.

For flesh and blood: Power creep is kicking the butt of the old sets, along with Living Legend rotating old heroes out of the game. Dragonball Fusion world is dying fast, it's crazy. Digimon has crazy print reductions, new sets are scarce. One Piece is currently having massive reprints. Pokemon just keeps releasing mediocre sets, they have milked the dlc for some reason. Swsh had two sets based on dlcs, scarvio has four. That's too much gen 9, people never want new mons. Consumers are struggling to afford tcgs, the small buyers are gone except for magic. I think we will finally start to see some of these new tcgs die (probably dragonball and star wars).

If the new TCGs are still having events then they will not be gone in the near future, maybe in a year or more if they keep making their mistakes (like star wars). Also where have you seen those massive one piece reprints?

@@Chris3s Online. OP-06 is less than 100 on tcgplayer and the first five sets have halved in price.

@@ravdeepbagri1313 I see thanks, seems this doesn't apply to europe still though. Still overpriced and pretty much no stock in local stores (or trying for kids to buy japanese packs)

Summer for me has been good. Sold out of Star Wars, one piece and even Lorcana. Although Lorcana does worry me as the game transitions more and more towards people only going to events with tens of thousands of dollars in Disney promos.

When "collectibles" get rare and expensive, doesn't that contradict the whole ability to be collected?

The LGS I play at is mainly minis but in the last months has seen a boom in tcg events with One Piece and CFV starting up with events. Not sure on sales data since im just a TO there and not store staff.

The art quality on Magic products has been in decline for a while now. It feels like a hodge podge of random I.P. instead of a unique world that you can feel invested in. WoTc needs leadership change top to bottom. They even managed to dork up LoTR.
