He may have but you have to accept, I didn’t and I am an engineer of some fifty years. Like you, I saw the KTM video, bought the tool, tried it on two cranks but had no success. Those are the facts and my experiences which you should accept

I have an apology to make. I revisited sing this tool only this time I used a decent vice to hold the crank web. I also did not let the heat soak into the bearing race for too long to minimise the heat transfer into the actual crank. The race comes off instantly and with no hassle. Previously the crank was turning in the vice so no purchase was being given to the race on the shaft. So again, apologies. Bolti
