I'd theorize that she may have ended up missing her old days as the Black Baron, as she had a persona she could hide herself behind. And since she didn't fully agree with the Cooper Gang's life of thievery, she split off from Bentley and sold his plans to Le Paradox in hopes of making money to fund her passion for weapon design. However, this was a double-edged sword as Le Paradox wasn't exactly trustworthy, and like her, petty at the Coopers for a shortsighted reason. This is just my take on it. She probably loved that Bentley and her were both skilled technology adepts, capable of inventing things together... but she did have that urge to take things to a level Bentley just wasn't ready for at the time, and her actions were mere impulse. I'd chalk her betrayal more as her being shortsighted towards her own goals than towards Bentley's and her own; a great friend but not as great a girlfriend.

I was a bit thrilled at first that Muggshot and the Panda King (5:19:24) had returned ever since the thievius Raccoonus. I would not be as convinced as Sly is if we had to hire a once member of the Fiendish Five on the Cooper team.

2:19:25 - did anyone else notice this guy pointlessly backtracked through an entire level after he had nearly completed it, and restart the whole level without trimming the video? Then, at 2:27:17, he almost made the exact same mistake. If anyone watched the entire walkthrough after they did this, I feel sorry for you. 😂😂

The one big problem with this game: The operations almost always fail. Something wrong or unexpected happens that causes a sudden switch; turning them more into comedies than actual well thought out plans. But hey, all fun as well. Many other problems but still love the heck out of this game.

Honestly I did think the same thing when i recently played the game again. After wondering if there was a reason as to why it went that way, i figured out technically they didn’t fail any of their ops. At the end of every single op, they succeeded by getting a new member for the cooper vault heist. I think this game does pretty good job with showing that not every plan or even goal goes the way you planned it. Sometimes you just have to quickly analyze the situation and improvise to set things back in track to accomplish what you came to do.

Because Obviously the villians are much more capable than the klaww gang. Underastimated carmilita in first episode, black mask too tanky, freakn tsao with his black arts, army & Dragon + he was smart too, Lewfee was a genius, and of Course freakn Dr. M who was smart, had his own mutant Army & many possibilites because the cooper tresor island was literally his home base. All where much more Dangerous, and the last 3 villians where very smart & cunning too. So in the end it's actually the other way around, it's more seroius, Because the villians are real threat.

I'm probably going to step on a few toes here, but after revisiting this game during this playthrough I realized, the story is... rather lackluster. The gang gets a female member, just about *everyone* starts lusting over her for no reason and she ends up kidnapped all the time and has to be rescued, like some helpless damsel in distress. And some story elements feel very random and bizarre -- like, an entire chapter all about literal pirates and pirate stuff? And so freaking MANY gimmicks in every single mission, so many new systems that get used and then discarded left and right -- why didn't the Panda King get his own mission in the final chapter? Why did Dimitri get so little screentime as part of the gang? This entire game feels half-baked. I'm not saying it's *bad* but just... lackluster, like I said at the start.

I’m not so sure Penelope’s character is really like that. She literally does toe to toe fisticuffs with a seasoned fighter, midair, She bails the team out constantly right from her intro, and she herself is immediately lusting for sly 😂 And he’s just stylishly awkward about it

Did you play the Game? The only ones lusting for her in the gang were bentley (at the Beginning) & Dimitri, and for both it makes sense. Bentley because he found a Girl that is Basically him, but in female version. Dmitri Because he has narcistic tendencies but in a loud way. Yes, she got captured, but it was relevant for bentleys Character Development, but most importantly, she succesfully defended herself in EP5. Not for herself, but for bentley. So she wasn't a helpless dirstress, she proved strenght + it was for a man sie loved. She got a huge Character Development as well. Don't forget penelope lusted for sly almost 2 epsiodes long, but it was neccesary for the Message that "looking good, and being handsome means not this Person fits to you. It's a fairy tail. That Person that fits to your Character and you you're on a wellenght with is the right for you." Sly 3 is all about Character Development to Give the characters a worthy end, and to end the story (Sly 4 is basically Fan fiction, Because it's not from the Original writers. Sly 3 is the ending of the canon sly cooper Franchise.). And yes, the Game is actually rushed by Sony, so sucker punch only had 9-12 months for sly 3 to finish. For Sly 2 they had 2 years.
