This game is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to my life. I remember playing it with my sister when we were young and we'd play the 2 player cops and robbers mode. Wed make up scenarios and go through with them, like we were playing house but in the game lol. We loved the venice level. This was the first sly game id ever played and I've played it at least 15 times. Started at 7 and am now 20. Helped me through alot of depression and anxiety. Man i wish i could turn back time and go back to those simple days. Thank you for the memories, sly.

The Great Cry of Humanity When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape. -1 Thessalonians 5:3 Everyone wants peace today, and in some cases, they want peace more than they want justice. They want peace more than they want what is right. They just want peace and safety. It’s the great cry of humanity that we hear so much about today. There is talk about the global family and how the world is one, big village. The assertion is that we all just need to learn to get along and set aside our differences. It seems as though the only thing lacking now is a charismatic leader to tell us what to do next. With the incredible advances in technology and the ability to communicate globally in an instant, the world is just waiting for that leader. And that leader is coming. Some will think he is the Messiah, but he won’t be. He will be the Antichrist. The prefix anti- not only means “against”; it also means “instead of.” And when this world leader emerges on the scene, he will be a false messiah, the devil’s version of the real thing. Many people will follow him because he will temporarily usher in a three-and-a-half-year reign of global peace, something no one else has been able to do. He will bring about an end, temporarily, to the conflict in Israel as he helps them build their temple in Jerusalem. Yet those who believe we can get along as one global family and live together in peace are those who believe humanity is essentially good. And they are not dealing with reality. That is why the Bible tells us to be sober. In 1 Peter 5:8 we read, “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour” And writing to the believers in Ephesus, the apostle Paul said, “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days” (Ephesians 5:15-16) Nonbelievers claim that Christians are not realists, that we’re living in an altered state of reality. But we are realists, more than anyone else today. A Christian is someone who simply believes what the Bible is saying. And the Bible tells us that humanity is not basically good; it’s wicked. That explains a lot of the horrid, perverse, and unthinkable things that people do today. When the Bible says that at the core, our hearts are “desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9), everything makes sense. On the other hand, if someone believes that we are all essentially good, that is hard to explain. Not only are Christians realistic about our problems, but we’re also realistic about the solution. We know that government will not solve our problems and there is no system on earth that can solve the social ills of today. We know the only real hope is a change in the human heart. And the only One who can change a human heart is God.

I love how cold and cruel they make Dr. M in his introduction, he asks Richards about his wife and kid solely to tell him he's going to kill him, or more accurately, told him he was about to die because he poisoned him nearly half a day ago. Not even mentioning the fact he would've tore the original Richards to shreds, just to give him bat wings, bison hooves and ape arms. But it's hilarious that the code to the vault was 123.

This is one of the coolest games I've ever played in my life. I've played it dozens of times and I swear it never once bored me. I'm glad I grew up in the heyday of these platforming masterpieces. Nowadays I still play the whole trilogy like 2-3 times a year (I do the same thing with the J&D and R&C trilogies). Every time I finish Sly 3, I feel sad, while every time I replay it, I feel as happy as if I won the lottery. I am deeply sorry for all those who have never played this legendary series (this, along with Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank), you missed perfect and immortal masterpieces.

I hear ya man. I’ve yet to play Thieves in Time (or I could just watch the walkthrough videos), but sometimes I wish the Sly Cooper games were left alone at just 3 games. I mean, Honor Among Thieves was the perfect conclusion to the saga of the Cooper Gang! AND Penelope the mouse ever turning villain would have been all but nonexistent had the games been left as a trilogy.

I never really got why they made Penelope betray the group. With how sly 3 ended it was kinda random

*Spoilers Murray rescuing the van is one of my all time favorite gaming moments. It’s been with us for just as long as the original crew, so to lose it at the end of Sly 2 really broke my heart. I lit up as a kid when Murray sees it again, like literally seeing and old friend! Murray’s words really did touch me, and I’m so glad they reached Panda King too! (Who is also from the first game) It really is a well contained and satisfying arc for what felt like the end of the Sly series at the time.

Sly 1 was the first game I ever owned, and was also the first one I played and beat by myself. I got it the very year it came out along with my first console, the PS2 purchased by my grandpa. Ever since then this place has held a special place in my heart and it always will. Words can't express how excited I was when I first saw a commercial for Sly 2. My grandpa took me out the day it released and bought it for me. I loved it even more than the first game. So when I saw an ad for this in a magazine at school, I got so hyped. The day before it was supposed to come out I went with my grandpa to a video store we went to a lot on the weekends and they had it! They were really nice and let me take it home before they even put it on the shelf. I beat it that night and the next day my grandpa bought it after we took that one back. All this to say, this is without a doubt my favorite video game series of all time. A lot of it may be nostalgia but going back and playing them makes me realize they still hold up to this day. I wasn't even 7 when I got the first game. I'm now 29 and I still get overly emphatic and dare I say even emotional over how great these games are. I have the first 3 on PS2 and I never get bored with them. There's been more time between Sly 4 and now than there was between Sly 3 and Sly 4, but every year I hold out hope that a new game will be announced. Honestly I'd be perfectly happy with a remaster like we've seen with Spyro(another I grew up playing) and Crash. I just want something to keep the franchise going. I would happily drop the cash on a PS5 if they released a new Sly game for it.

The sly cooper series as a kid felt like playing a video game, mixed with Saturday morning cartoons in the best way possible. I loved the game/gameplay, but I was always racing to find out what was going to happen next in the story! Never played anything else like this as a kid. What a game ❤️

So many great memories born from countless afternoons playing this game with my younger brother. Our minds exploded when we saw they brought back Dimitri from Sly 2 and the Panda King from Sly 1. Hours spent sailing around in the ship mode for the pirate level. Our #1 favorite thing, though, was spending hours at the Venice level stalking Carmelita after unlocking Bentley's remote camera tool and using the claw harpoon to attack her or taunt her with Bentley yelling "Up your nose with a rubber hose!" or "Yo mama." 😂😂😂😂😂 The new character weapons they had, introducing dialogue options and vibration based picklocking, being able to play secondary characters in a way that was still significant to the plot. Sucker Punch did such a great job on these games before Sanzaru did that Sly 4 monstrosity. I've played this game so much that I could immediately tell that OP was playing the remastered collection edition on the PS3 instead of the original PS2 game. (No hate though, I'm super grateful for this gameplay upload)

While the 2nd Sly game is probably better Sly 3 has more creativity to it. You really have to admire this game for trying new ideas like missions for characters besides the trio or the whole idea of the Cooper Vault. Not to mention how great the ending was one of the best you can give a game trilogy in my opinion.

(2:25:43) I had the most fun on this level. The lemonade part was alright. I don't mind the mashing parts, but the bar fight afterwards with the complete army of kangaroos and dingos was the most fun. Allowing you to beat up guys left and right with all 3 characters. So awesome and thrilling. I want to play the first and second game so I can know more about the story, but with Honor Among Thieves (3), and Thieves in Time. The best games I could've ever played and that I did as a kid along with Ratchet & Clank, LittleBIGPlanet, Sonic, Pokémon, Mario, NFS Hot Pursuit 2, and many others. Good times. =)

I always liked that Sly stops right before he enters the Vault. It’s a brief pause but i love it cause it really resonated with me. He asks his 2 best friends to accompany because as far as he’s concerned they’re more than just his teammates. They’re his family.
