I was seriously studying technique, ukemi more than anything, and got sidetracked and found this comedy series that I'm sure you and yours will find hysterical, if you are not already fans. Check out Enter The Dojo here on youtube. This isn't like a plug; though I would do almost anything to play a student in one of these. Anyway, enjoy. These guys are super funny.

Love it as usual! I reckon a carry umbrella to work series would go down well! It’s roughly 3 foot and metallic! Less obvious than a stick or metal pipe. Many thanks Lenny!

I trained in Aikido about 25 years ago. It was similar to what you are calling tension form. I loved the form, especially because it allowed a smaller person to defend against a larger opponent. It was always fun to see a 100 lb woman drop a 200 lb guy. But while I was training, I always had the feeling that it could be dificult to initiate the technique while avoiding being hammered by the attackers other fist or feet. You have sucessfully addressed that issue. From what I can see in your video, your technique protects the head much better when you are being attacked. And I like the extra strikes that you add to disable the attacker. For anyone that hasn't really tried Aikido, the wrist locks, throws, and strikes that are shown here are extremely painful to an untrained attacker. And you really can easily break a wrist or an arm.

Who said Aikido was a non fighting martial art! Good for you, don't get sucked in to the mentality "if You can't use it in the octagon, it doesn't work. Good to see.

yeow zah...very excellent..love the force applied to the elbow..a definite game changer. it makes the hip toss look effortless..great video.. note: would love more videos of the 'pissed off guy that gets in your work space'--quick easy, and just as he starts to to point at you, which always is an indicator of a strike is about to happen, you apply a move...just a thought..thanks

Sir, some of your techniques used in protecting your face and head are very good, I will keep studying this until I can get it right. One question, have you ever heard of keysi fighting style and your thoughts on it? I ask because of the way you used your elbows to block and protect, again thank you for your time.

Lenny, I really like CC. I come from a very traditional background i.e. TKD, Karate, Judo. CC is something that you need a partner for. I'd like to know your thoughts martial arts forms and kicks.

Thank you for all your efforts the techniques you teach are very useful. I had a very similar experience as you with the material arts starting out as a kid with Taekwondo, Hapkido, Judo and karate. Which was extremely useful. Later in life I learned another form of Karate (Do) which use totally useless. To many (hidden moves) katas where you would kick yourself on the nuts. A fucking joke and I told the master so. I respectfully ask you to please teach me, would you show a demonstration where you are attacked 3 separate times and you attacker will pull a knife and come at you full force attack totally at random either rapid stabs or slashes to keep it real. useing a fake knife of course. The other two demonstration I would like to see is a fight senario where they throw random kicks and punches with control so you don't have to ware protection. And for the last demonstration the same thing with a street fighter throwing punches full blast. with you starting in a focused frame of mind. of course I would expect you to practice these scenarios before filming them. I just want people to know how truely effective your art has become and I also want to learn from it myself. I know you don't like being called master though you are, so thank you brother.
