Oh, I tried it for like 2-3 hours before giving up because it wasn't working. Then I consulted Tyler Kehne, and he explained to me all about RNG. I told him what angle/speed I needed, and he told me what RNG values would work and gave me a table of the entire RNG sequence. Then it was a matter of pinpointing a specific RNG and going for that. That part wasn't actually all that difficult.

I found that, in the DS remake, the vast majority of the stars were far easier to obtain by utilizing Luigi's spinning jump maneuver.

So, hello random person, if you know please tell me A. how many levels are in this game (excluding the castle, i've seen that vid) B. Has he finished the all of them in minimal A's yet? C. Once he does, will he ever do a video witht the whole game in one?

A. There are 120 stars in the game. B. 119 of them are now 0x A-presses. The remaining one is Bowser in the Fire Sea, in which, as of now, you still have to press A once in order to get off the pole leading to floor 2. That's one A-press left in the whole game. (Edit: See "BitFS 0x ideas") C. Given how exorbitantly long some of these ABC levels can be... I don't know. Ask him.

Pretty amazing video. But isn't it easier to start off tiny? You can run past the beach, past the canon, towards the pipe where you finish the race with Koopa The Quick. Then you enter the pipe there and do everything you need to do. No need for RNG manipulation and all that stuff which takes forever. :p
