I played M64 through an emulator on my PC in the 00s, and the one glitch I took advantage of, was grabbing his tail, then letting go, walking a little, grabbing it again, and repeating this until I got close to a mine. That meant I never actually beat the game at the end because I never had the ability to twirl and throw him in the final level, given I was playing with a PC keyboard and not a joystick.

Once I tried to jump to the log-rolling section in tall tall mountain and missed and I went through the mountain and got teleported to the pool next to the monkey.

I want this to be a mod now ( if this actually becomes a mod there should be a pizza portal near the finish flag that starts a lap 2 against him if entered. During said lap 2 koopa the quick runs faster, all the enemies get tripled, a chain chomp without its leash will spawn and chase you down, and bowser will spawn as well. )

One of the most impressive parts of this to me is the speedrunner clips - how did you find those??? Did you ask for submissions or did you comb through hundreds of hours of footage to find relevant examples? The amount of research in this video in general is crazy. So is the editing and animations - especially the fluidity of the in-game camera movements. I'm curious what kind of setup you have to do that sort of thing.

I don't know if this game is based on a ROM and that's why there's glitches but yeah that extra life in the snow tunnel yeah I've got that on the original N64 it's pretty easy to get
