This just makes me think of that TTC Upwarp thing from nearly a decade ago. It's fascinating to learn how old games were built and understand all these little quirks we just learned to live with.

20:36 As a programmer, the more I learn about Super Mario 64's code, the more I realize how jank it actually is when compared to modern games. Like, why on God's green earth would positional data for vertices not be stored as floats?

I think I commented before, I'll comment again. Thank you for this. Holy shit, this is the most comprehensive display I've ever seen. This was my favorite game growing up and learning all of this is so cool. You deserve a million views For this, and I'll give you a pile of them. But it is 4 hours, so it'll take some time to do that

The only reason why I can think Why you would teleported to the death barrier by grabbing Bowser tail at the edge is that the game thinks you’re meant to be in the death barrier because your off the stage but because you grabbed onto the Bowser it takes the game a few seconds to think which is why you get teleport instantly instead of falling
