FYI. That battery is for the digital part. The mechanical has a different battery beneath the board. This other video has a good way of getting to it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGWqg4aHZ9N3n9E

The content of this video helps you get TO the battery. Once you follow the instructions I have laid out to get To the battery, replacing the battery is child’s play. Literally take the battery out and put the new one in. It’s that simple.

@@timg9448 Aren't their 2 batteries? Isn't one behind part of the inner works? Don't you have to "ground the battery to something called the "A/c"? What are the batteries anyway? Doesn't sound like child's play to me. I think you owe us another YT tutorial. Please.

Carlos Dominguez Yes, I thought it was strange that none of my tools actually fit those “bolts.” Nothing fit the hex-heads, so I used the universal tool that always works... the knive. Pulled them right out.

Tim G How has these watches held up overtime? I work as a heavy hauler slinging chains and hauling equipment out in the elements. For the price, how do they hold up?

Mr. Doodad I don’t know how resilient these watches are. I don’t wear it all that much. I know it is larger & tends to get in the way more than my other watches. It’s a big watch, so I expect it may get beat up or scratched more easily than most. Looks like it can handle some work though.

Tim G Ok I ordered one. Might try it out For a while to see if i like it. If the size and aesthetics work for me might sell some other watches and go on and get the real Casio Gshock mudmaster. Time will tell.

@@timg9448 Also found out there's a battery behind the 2025 that powers the anolog hands.You have to unscrew the white back panel to reveal. Thanks again.

No, the straps are not interchangeable.
