As someone who has renovated a few home mistakes definitely happen. You made the right choice to replace what you were not happy with. Everything looks absolutely beautiful.

hey girl- Such a pretty bathroom! Great job!😀😉 My husband and I have white grout in both our bathrooms and it doesn't look very good.🙄 He says if we do move one day that is when we will really tackle that floor. It really isn't to bad. So glad y'all are happy now with the bathroom🥰

I have an 8 inch travertine tile in our bedroom bathroom with wide grout lines. I sealed the floor after grouting with a clear sealer for tile and grout (very easy to do) and the recommendation was to use two coats drying in between coats and apply every six months. Well, it's not expensive, so no big deal. We actually put on four coats drying in between and now, I just reseal it once a year. It has been in for 15 years and still looks brand new. We love it.

Ok. You are making me regret my lives decisions! Ha! I think we only sealed it once at the beginning and it's been a few years since. That probably would have made it just fine!!! Goodness - you taught me so much today. I think we knew it but didn't realize how important and what a difference it would make. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I hope others read your comment!

We love our travertine in our bathroom. Our grout is a Tannish and never looks dirty.

Thank you - I really did like it both ways too. But being more manageable now has been amazing.

We bought a fixer upper Victorian- the rest of the house is beautiful but the upstairs bathroom (our main bathroom) is a hot mess, and I plan to do at least a cosmetic reno before we host our baby’s 1st birthday this coming February. Can’t wait to watch 😊

Wondering what product you put over the travertine tiles and grout to smooth that floor out before adding the new marble tiles?

How hard was it to get the tile on the floor up? That had to be a mess and really hard. Especially the tile on the tub.

Cami it looks beautiful! Great job. I’m wondering, how difficult was it to remove the travertine tile and we’re you able to save it for another project? Just received my checked tea towel. Love it.

Thank you! Since it was installed directly on our concrete floors (since it is a pole barn) it was pretty difficult to remove. Hubby did not like that part! Some can off easy and others required quite the hammer and chisel work. They were damaged beyond any sort of use. That did make me super sad. And thank you for ordering the tea towels! I hope you love them for many years!

...it sounds like the color of the bathroom walls was not the issue....it's a cleaning issue...🤨😬
