I personally think if a person is an influencer or not and they decide to decorate for a season earlier than what some might think is appropriate is really nobody's business. Don't judge others. Our home is our home. Don't criticize others. Too much of that happens on social media platforms. The dresser turned out so nice, and it looks great with the lamps. Your bedroom looks so different with those little changes. Great job!!

Tbh I don’t really understand social media. But if you set up a platform that has a comments section, and you invite people to watch your videos, doesn’t that mean that people are allowed to make comments, whatever they might be? I feel you are telling people that they shouldn’t make comments if those comments are that it’s not even the middle of August yet and you’re decorating for autumn. Personally I don’t care. But if you open yourself up for comment, surely you take the bad with the good?

Love the wood lamps better, I love the dresser and new knobs, I love the rug and as much as I love the green curtains I like the tan curtains better now. They don't break up the flow of the room for the eye. Great job Karrie.

Helpful tip I learned from another DIYer...when painting things with drawers, put zip ties in the hardware holes so you can open the drawers.

Stunning! I wouldn't change a thing! Wooden lamps bring the wood to the other side of the room. The black in the new rug is really brought out by the black end tables. Your artwork is a great addition to the room, even behind the door. It all looks like a wonderful oasis for you and hubby. Love it!!! ❤

I have the same vacuuming problem with my washable rugs!! I can’t use them in high traffic areas because I can’t vacuum them:(. I did buy one of those “manual” vacuums that doesn’t plug in and that works for my smaller washable rugs:)

I purchased the same rug from Amazon, in a differant color, had the same problem with the vacuum, mine was in the living room so it was more difficult to manage with nothing but a coffee table on top, so even though there beautiful, I had to return it, but it’s made very nice and a good rug if you can deal with it wrinkling. I actually like the lighter drapes, very nice how they blend with the walls. Love it all, very nice👍👍💕

Loved how this turned out! Subtle changes are good for the soul...especially when you live in a smaller space as I do also...even just switching out pieces of furniture...rearranging...or moving artwork on the wall. I enjoy changing things up...and that bedding...I'm obsessed with anything "waffle" so big win on your choices with that! We spend a third of our life in our bedroom...or we should anyways haha...so it needs to be inviting...comfy...and peaceful. You definitely always achieve that with every change and update!
