They both sound amazing! I think I prefer the parlor. I wonder how much different it would compare to a guild m20

Thanks, that was an excellent comparison!

Bridge is moved back towards the center of the lower bout. That’s what makes 12 fret boom. Personally I liked the Martin. A little more rounded warmer tone. Both sounded good.

Excellent video, and thanks for the comparison. I really like the parlour style steel string guitars and have a local shop selling the BlueRidges, so i might give them a play in the comings months. Subbed ;)

So What? 😉 Great playing, fancy chording. Both are beautiful guitars-the blue ridges have impressed me, I feel a good step up from Recording Kings and near that Eastman quality. Thanks for your videos, they are always appreciated.

First, sir, your playing is very enjoyable. Your fingers are graceful, and they seem to be very nimble. Bothguitars sound great. A little more body on the Martin, a little more balanced on the Blueridge. Where's the logo on the Blueridge guitar? Nice array of acoustics there, but you're missing a Tacoma DM28. I'm keeping mine and my Blueridge BR 183.

To my ears, the Blueridge really sings with a flatpick, but the Martin sounded better with the finger picks. Your playing is beautiful on both guitars....but, from watching, it looked like the Blueridge wider neck was much easier for you to play. Both guitars sound great.

Fun to watch you playing with finger picks, single note stuff. Earlier videos I'd seen featured you playing smooth chord changes on jazz and standards, another style I enjoy. I clicked on because I just bought a 10 year old BR-361 (rosewood back and sides, otherwise the same), and there you were. Twelve fret sounds better; larger effective soundboard area.

I much prefer the Martin in this demo. I do like Blueridge and actually have a BR-171, but I'm considering getting a Martin OM28.
