I was talking about Holdens which are more of that calibre, the only forced induced Commodore which Holden has now is the 191 kilowatt turbocharged 2 litre ZB Commodore - hardly worth it when the naturally aspirated V6 isn't much better at only 235 kilowatts. Even my brother has the last HSV enhanced L99 powered VF Commodore V8 which has a power output of 430 kilowatts, which is the supercharged 6.2 litre V8. Mine is the 2002 model Holden VY SS Commodore which has had a custom exhaust system fitted & a tune done on it,the 5.7 litre LS1 engine is stock but after tuning & exhaust mods its power is on par with the 6 litre VE Commodore with a 276 kilowatt power output & VY Clubby 3.91:1 diff gears fitted. I'm looking forward to buying a 32 valved version of the 6.2 litre V8 Commodore with almost 400 kilowatts of power,so I'm crossing my fingers that Holden can fix up that stuff up which has happened in Australia. What I mean is I'm not going to drive my future wife & baby or babies around in a bassinet or baby seat in the back of the Corvette. Didn't the General think that I was going to get married ?

Why the hell do people spend good money on a GM engine, then put it in a boring Four-door family sedan. When we have plenty of cool Two-door car (old and new) to choose from.... Monaro, Torana, Camaro, Corvette, Pontiac, Buick, etc, etc.

Because a Monaro or Torana is worth well north of 50gs and you loose money doing it. Vh can still be had relatively cheaply . Also the longer wheelbase lends itself to drag racing. Mostly though this car has sentimental value to Bubba
