I'm actually really glad that Denise made the decision she did. They're not good together. Also, it's really interesting to me how this show is so much more about dysfunctional people than dysfunctional dogs.

I actually think she made the right call too, but not because of him. She was a bitch. She wasn't looking at all 3 dogs as their dogs, like Victoria said. She was looking at his dogs and her dog. She wanted him to be perfect after 2 days, because hes the human. Humans are creatures of habit, andoldhabitsarehard to break. He was trying. We just didn't get to see it because she was being such a bitch the whole time.

23:25 (just prior to this time stamp) he says "the women stick together, because that's what women do." That comment made my blood boil. Right then and there, in addition to the smirks he keeps giving his fiance behind her back, tells me this man is not worth it. Maybe I'll change my mind by the end. His cavalier attitude, disregard and disrespect for his fiance does not bode well for their future even if the dog issues is resolved.

2 small dogs that appear to be some type of terrier mix, which are extremely difficult dogs themselves - very high energy and constantly searching and hunting. Obviously he's still a pretty ignorant owner, but his dogs aren't easy just because they're smaller. His dogs are literally the picture perfect example of the frantic anxiety stricken angst a dog lives in constantly when the owner has the attitude he has of "that's just what dogs do!"

Honestly Denise made the right decision, some times even strong willed ladies like her are manipulated. But Denise really stood her ground, worked with the problem, gave him time, did everything in her power and was even okay with saying goodbye to him. I am glad she did that, guys like this will just keep pushing and pushing and emotionally manipulating things. And even in the end he never once agreed it was his fault, kept making it like as if it was her fault for giving 2 days time. It was NOT 2 DAYS MARK IT WAS HER WHOLE LIFE - however long she lived with u, she gave all that chance for u to make up for it and u put in zero effort. Denise deserves better and the poor pups deserve better too and the husky too. this is the first time I am seeing someone actually standing up and throwing someone out instead of allowing themselves to be manipulated. Denise is awesome for this ! Mad respectttt for that women !

I believe Denise's issue was primarily related to Mark's overall attitude. It wasn't just about the dogs; they would argue about groceries, his behavior towards other women, and even taking out the trash. Why is it that people think "small" dogs are cute when they growl or jump etc, but if a large dog did the same, wed be alarmed that he is going to turn into a "misbahaved/dangerous dog" .....they are ALL dogs! Small dogs need AS MUCH, if not MORE training to ensure they dont end up ha ing issues like " small dog syndrome" ...

This is a mixed bag…both of them have to work on the training. Because if they were to get married it would no longer be my dog vs your dog it would be “our” dogs. If they can’t work together on “their dogs” then it’s not going to be just a dog issue. They are like oil and water…I think she just used the dog as an excuse.

I think the call to Victoria/the show was at least a year too late (and Mark was ten and nine years, respectively, too late in training his dogs). Denise was done from her first minute and that's why she was so harsh, IMO. Casper has attacked her dog on multiple occasions and bit her child and his response to that was 🤷‍♂. It's hard to give leeway at that point. Mark used up all his slack over the course of their relationship/three-year engagement.

I think she only says this because she thinks this is the only language this dude perhaps understands. She clearly doesn't mean that she thinks the dogs need to be put down. Then it would have already happened and she wouldn't be in this situation for 2 years. She even says so much at the beginning. She wants the dude to (finally) step up.

When there is no trust left, it is done. I couldn't trust my husband of 23 years. I still loved him. But I could not trust him, so I divorced him. It hurt me as much if not more than it hurt him. He never forgave me for divorcing him due to his unconstrained alcoholic behaviors.

How is a dog supposed to behave sensibly around people and his family when even the adult owners behave like bitchy little children towards each other? Unfortunately, that's not uncommon in this show. No wonder the dog is trying to gain control.

I noticed it too. At the time these were aired it probably wasn't taken that seriously, but should have been censored when re-uploading the old episodes. (I did agree with him on many points though, and think her expectations for how quickly the changes should happen were unrealistic, but they both seem to have a habit of getting way too personal and just digging in deeper rather than stopping to think how much damage it will do.)

I was skeptical about mark and tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. But the moment they had that fight about him leaving all three dogs outside unattended, that was it for me. How do you not know your dogs are in the backyard and the only thing you can say is “I thought they were just in here behind the gate in the kitchen”. How do you miss a husky running around the backyard as you let the other dogs out after being explicitly told to keep them apart when unattended? That’s just carelessness. And it kept going downhill from there

It's funny how everyone is down on Mark. He was learning, too. However, his passive personality and Denise's personality are NOT a match. Bottom line, our pets are our responsibility to keep them safe, entertained, loved, fed, etc. If you can't commit.... don't bring them home.
@nonononono8194

His passive personality and dog ownership are not a match. Imagine allowing your dogs to bite people 12-18 times including children and saying to people who have a problem with it that you're making too big of a deal out of this. Anyone of those people that got bit could've pressed charges and demanded the dogs got put down. His careless attitude is a danger to his pets. He should not be a dog owner, he's making those dog's lives a living hell.
