Thanks! Yeah I'm really enjoying how it's developing. I'm not positive the age. I know in august of 2019, I posted a few pictures of me doing the first official work on this plant. It started as a big cutting from a different plant that didn't have much of a form to it.

Those tools that you get in a succulent tool kit are not great for trimming or cleaning off roots. The rake is too harsh. Actually with a plant that is not root bound you really do not need to rake the roots. Get a good scissor. Something like embroidery scissors or a decent Bonsai scissor. Those snippets that come in the kits are no good. The rest of the stuff is usable but the the rake and scissors do more harm than good. If you only have a few plants than all you need is a something like a chopstick and some sharp scissors. Those knockoffs from China are bad. Sadly, that is all that is available on most websites and in many stores anymore.
