Any one wanting to complain about bags should take it up with h&s. It used to get my goat that I had to pay for a new bag everytime but I was told by the deivery driver h&s say they can only be used once and they won't even take them back to the yard in case they get used again. Great work fellas.

I've always believed that construction workers should be entitled to retire on a state Pension 5yrs earlier than everyone else. It's kills the body so much sooner than any other occupation. Keep up the good work guys...Particularly enjoyed the bag opening scene.lol.......Oh, forgot to say, I've subscribed and love the channel.

Tough work there lads in that weather ,I’ve been there got the tee shirt and still doing it can you see why the building inspector wanted that perimeter insulation inside the DPM as I can’t see any benefit thermal wise at all

Great work as always - whilst the new regs on insulation are a bit of a pain the extensions you build must be a lot warmer than the old days where the floors / walls were either uninsulated or poorly insulated. Your hip looks very bad - I gave up on the NHS waiting list and after several yrs of pain (back) just paid for it directly. Got sorted in 3 months end to end. I reconciled this approach by thinking of it as business expense (though it's not tax deductible) in the same manner as one of our vehicles or other kit needing replacement / maintenance - a logical investment and cost of doing business.

Young or old, everybody can feel unwell at times so "lazy" does not come into the equation. If fact I would say you pair are probably the best "team" here on YT. Being father and son, you look after each other in a way only a father and son can. You both know the job has to be done so it is in no ones interest not to work. All I would say is that you both should look after yourselves a little more. Working in poor conditions, rain, wind etc, I feel you are almost asking to fall ill. Keep up the good work but at the same time, think a bit more about yourselves.

When the building inspector told you to move the insulation to the other side was he in the right and that is how it should be done (in the reg's book) and what did he say when you told him you always do it like that?. Or dose it say in the reg's it's up to you, just because you always do it like that still dose not make it right and he maybe the first one to pick it up. thanks

Building inspectors are a law unto themselves. Won’t see reason at all. Make me laugh where I live as I’ve a build next door that hasn’t adhered to building regs at all and inspectors not interested. My build although we adhered to regs we was asked to to go above and beyond (deeper footings, extra insulation, wouldn’t allow same level between patio and floor) which seemed to be a power trip for the inspector.
