Correct behaviors by adults do not only apply to children. I live in a quiet, sparsely populated part of rural Missouri. Imagine my surprise to be coming home, and nearly hitting a small blond woman in the road with my car. I stopped right there. She was NOT okay. I'm a woman. I asked her to please get in my car because she wasn't safe out there in the road. Her face was red, and she had been crying. I just wanted to help her. The ten-odd cars stopped behind me didn't honk once (thankyou to those patient drivers!). She got in, and I pulled into a nearby parking lot to assess her needs. It became obvious to me that she was on some sort of drugs. I offered to take her to a Safe House. She wanted to see a doctor. I happily drove 30 miles out of my way to take her to the one she wanted. I'm glad she didn't want me to take her to her home. I watched her walk into the doctor's office, knowing that someone there would see her distress and help her. I hope she is doing better now.

In my younger days, as soon as the little girl said she didn't know the guy, I'd have sent him to the hospital. These videos are so needed today. The fear of possible arrest or confrontation can keep someone from acting. But please...don't let that fear sway you from doing what's right! Someone saved me when I was 6 years old when I went to the bathroom at church once. And he didn't care about beating up older boys(he was a grown man and they were 10-12 years old)or the charges he might have gotten if their parents decided to press charges. It was a different time then the 1970s. He saved me from future mental and physical scars and I'll never forget him. He has since passed a long time ago. And he was a WW2 vet, family man and a good man one of the best I've ever known. Thank you.
