First off truly tragic all around. But, there are many problems in Yarl's and Family's story... The mother sent Yarl to go pick up siblings from a friends house at 10pm on a school night, see's a 80+ yr old white man, gets shot for no reason. Questions... He didn't know the friends address or ethnicity? had never been there before despite that his younger siblings are friends enough with them that the mother lets the children be there at that hour of night and sends yarl a child to go get them? Ok, a misunderstanding of address, maybe,... problem is he was shot from the front, except for when his arm was shoot when he went to the ground. 80 yr old white man opens the door, and "sorry wrong address" wasn't said? or "Are insert sibling names- here?" wasn't said? both party's have stated the only thing said was "Don't come around here" after the first shot... Not to mention the old man had to "pull" the gun out...Andrew (84yr old) opens the door(right hand) then has time to draw his gun (right hand), no words were exchanged by either party by this time really??? Whoah I"m just looking for my brother, wrong house, didn't bolt immediately???... I call bs... Logic leans more in favor with Andrew Lester's version of the story. Old man who never gets visitors at that hour, lives in the city, see's large amounts of break ins and strong arm robberies plastered on the news takes his firearm for safety, opens door, then sees a large male, no words are exchanged upon opening the door, even though male sees Andrew and then male grabs screen door handle and tries to open door, Andrew pulls gun and fires. Family blames others for incident. Had the kid been shot in the back or in the side then I would say his story is true, .. old man opens door (clearly wrong house) turn leaves it's literally that fast especially if "are insert siblings names- here?" wasn't said.. I think a polygraph should be given to Andrew, if he passes then Yarl should take one.. which ever one fails gets charged with relavent charges (assault or burglary) + Hate Crime.

Maybe you should read the story. He shot the kid through the window FIRST. Then opened the door and proceeded to shoot him as he fell to the ground

I did read the story it was through a glass screen door, not a window (the closest one is 5 ft from the door btw). Now the 84 yr old man who has to use a cane is fast enough to go from shooting him from a window to opening the door to shoot him again as he fell??? Like I said Polygraphs on both who ever fails gets relevant charges (burgulary or assault) plus hate crime charges and goes to prison..The end.

I'm truly sorry that this young man got shot, I'm very glad that he survived, prayer is the answer, if we all live in a country where we live an eye for a eye nothing is going to get better , I don't know how it feels to lose a child but I pray for those that have , I wish I had answers but I don't 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@magaareinbredhillbillies strong arm robbery 40 years ago in KCMO at a Winchell's on Bannister Rd. The black guy had been hitting all the donut shops from down to the suburbs. It was the time they said don't go with any one and for me that was being pushed in the back room. But those words are so false at least they was for me when the man jumped the counter I was in the back before I knew thinking (💩) this wasn't good. He knew the areas of extra money was kept because he had hit so many. I was one of the lucky ones in the early 80's.
