It’s too difficult to pick one favourite project from your transformation. Everything is amazing! $136.00? It is a great space! Though I don’t know if young people truly appreciate the importance of their surroundings, you will likely rest easy knowing that you have provided a beautiful “home” for your youngest. This kitchen is fabulous and I love the whole basement, for what it has cos you on the kitchenette it’s hard to believe, and how lucky when you pulled all that stuff off the ceiling, all that beautiful wood above looks great and those light fittings are awesome. Your 2 sons are so lucky to have a kind and talented Mum who has a great stash of items to use on her jobs. WOW to the whole job.

Taking down the old ceiling, painting the green, and adding the little bar area were great solutions. Using the wallpapers and contact paper made a big difference. Such a good job as always! I was thinking about this kitchen last night. Excited to see this reveal video. Thank you.

It had to have taken years and years to build up so many odds & ends that you can find a use for. Ever have trouble finding things you know you have somewhere stored??? I wonder how your son reacted to his remodeled apartment that you spent so much loving time and energy creating for him? Does he get to keep the decorations and kitchen supplies you put on his shelves and walls? It doesn't look like he'll be doing much cooking? And unfortunately, there is no sink. you worked your magic again! i lived in a space with a “kitchen” like that. a 2 burner hot plate, a toaster oven, microwaves hadn’t been invented yet! add a coffee maker and a mini fridge and you can really cut down on eating out. dishes got washed in the bathroom or the laundry sink. definitely doable! (you are amazing but please wear a mask and gloves if you’re ripping stuff out)
