Small lures, BIG results!! Trolling deep divers over the reef!

Ahoy Legends, in this weeks episode I had to fish DAWN till DUSK, but it was worth the wait!! Also I reveal my new boat upgrades! My plan for the trip was to try and troll up some Snapper using hard-bodied lures. While, I did manage to start the morning with a bang, the bite went cold and I had to wait it out until dusk before I finally found some action, and didn't they fire up! The afternoon bite was crazy!

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

You will love that new Yamaha. It will be interesting to know how it does fuel wise compared to the Suzi. I have a 300Yamaha pushing my 6700lb tinny and the most fuel efficient I can get at cruise speed is about 2.5 mpg. My guess is you are closer to 4mpg or better.
