Dave, you're so right about the Gov'nor pedal. It's awesome, I love mine. Rock in a box!!! I'll have to buy a Muff now! How can you make the construction of a tiny pedal board sound so great?? Brilliant.

We have something in the states called liquid nails. It’s like industrial strength super glue for basically anything extremely heavy duty. That’s what I use to put down carpet or Velcro when I used to make my boards. The staples drove my ocd crazy. Plus the glue was stronger than the staples. Just a friendly tip. Cheers :)

Thank you for videoing your small pedalboard build. Great idea using the carpet tiles instead of the loop half of velcro 👍🏻 looks much neater and works much better it seems. It was nice to see your process and thoughts on organising your board too. I know see what you mean about the Crybaby not having enough sweep compared to the Vox. Cheers Dave. 👍🏻

You did pretty good with that pedalboard dave. More developed a bit than the bargain board I did a couple of years ago. A good thing these days when the smallest commercially produced I can find is over $90 on its own.

Hello Dave ! Nice video once again, very interesting ! I have a question about pedalboards... Did you ever consider making a serie of videos about the Line 6 HX Effects ? For exemple, "how to make a John Frusciante board with the HX Effects" or a Hendrix one, etc... Kind of like the CR 120 serie ! :D

The reason he does the signal chain backwards is because he’s from English. People from England do everything the other way around, like driving.

Or if funds are very tight and you can wait, Andertons have the Landlord FX Taproom delay on sale at the moment for £29.00 (Pre -order). No arrival date though. If you need small, they have the Hotone Eko Delay at £53.00 +£5.00 p+p. I don't know though if you want a basic delay or something with more options, Dave.

Thank you very much. Its a 2002 Mexican 60s reissue and the pickups are just the stock tex mex it came with. : )

@@thedavesimpson Thanks for the reply! Wow! I can't believe how great its tone is. That guitar is a keeper for sure. It has that quintessential strat 'chime' as perfect as it could get on the neck position. I recently bought a new American Professional strat and while it sounds bloody amazing, it still doesn't sound quite as nice as yours. So those are the tex-mex pickups then? I've seen some pretty good deals on those recently... might have to get me a set of them! The part at 23:10--that tone plus your playing of that riff--man, that is everything I love about guitar in a 10 second nutshell.
