Small Router table with Lifter

This is a small trimmer table with an elevation function that can be used on a tabletop.
The stainless steel bar for lifting and lowering is also used as a pillar, making it a simple structure.
The elevating unit itself is the base of the table, and if a top board is attached, it becomes a trimmer table as it is.
*The main work is to make the elevating unit, but not the top panel.

I had the same issue with the "Wobble" you see in the beginning. The issue is that the drive rod is too thin, and you need equal distribution of weight while also keeping the linear bearings from having any slop. Put bearings on all 4 sides, not just 2. Then make the rod placement to where it pulls the bearings away from the part they are mounted to. Basically, mark the hole for where your rod should be, then make your hole. 0.5mm further out away from the motor clamp you use. This will require a bit more work to get it onto the shafts, but it will decrease the lower quality bearings tolerances. If you can, make your own bearing blocks, but don't use the bearings, rather, use the solid polymer style of slides as they will have zero play (if mounted into a wood block with an exact sized hole to compress the slide properly. These bearings last forever, need no oil, are inexpensive, and they don't gunk up inside.) Good luck.
