High quality video and content. Good fishing technique to, gotta hold that line and leader off of the water where you can. Your day looked fairly typical of that creek. How long is your leader? I think on these small streams we fish 7' 1/2" is plenty. Some times even shorter to get a couple more feet of fly line out of the tip to load the rod. Fish the lower section of that creek from the lake up to the ranger station. Some surprises swim up out of the lake at certain times of the year

Thanks for the tips. I definitely plan to go back-would love to fish the lower section you mentioned and also make my way higher upstream than I made it that day.
