My father grew up in Gilbert, MN. Spent his teens canoeing and camping along the boundry waters. Even now at 82 he still talks so fondly about growing up in Minnesota. I show him these videos from time to time. He loves them! He wants me to take him back up to see his home town soon. Such a beautiful area.

Mav- worked at a few pizza places. For Neapolitan start it by hanging it from the 12 position and rotating your hands from 3- 12, like you are passing yourself the other side of the dough. Crimp your hands once the middle is thin and crimp the dough. Place it on the board and push the edges out to keep the air in, like you mentioned, and boom you have a great looking pizza dough. Just a thought! Great video.

Next time you make pizza try putting corn meal on the "spatula" (cant remember the official name for it) before putting your crust on it. Makes it slide off super easy and gives a nice texture on the bottom of the crust.

That looks delicious! To help with your pizza next time, use parchment paper, it helps transfer pizza from point A to point B and the paper is removable after you fully cooked. Great stuff though Mav! I would love to get a portable camper like that for my 1985 Thunderbird

hey MAV i got a tip for you when you are trying to move the pizza dough, put the middle of the rag on the front of the flat scooper and put the rag on the cornor of the dough and pull the rag up, then it is easy to move . this is what we do at home, love your vids, and just keep on trucking.

Hey, I am from an Italian family (American born and raised myself), and your pizza looked lovely and delicious. Focaccia though is a lot fluffier, not flat. I think you made a delicious rosemary flatbread! Focaccia has lots of olive oil - more than you think you need - and it should be worked differently, to get as stretchy a dough as possible.
