This is one of my all time favorite songs. Before now, I could only listen to the original by Bronski Beat. It came out in ‘84 when I was 18 and my big brother was pretty much living this song. It still brings tears to my eyes. I’m by no means a violent person but the only person I’ve ever slugged was saying mean things about my brother. She never did it again. At least, not in front of me. My brother has gone to live this incredible life and I honestly can’t be more proud of him! This beautiful song always brings back memories. You’re the first to do it justice! Thank you

For me, it reflects a time in my life which was very painful and brings meaning to a meaningless moment. To someone else it could one their favorite dance songs. We all have different ways of enjoying a great piece of music.
