I'm motivated by the ripped and torn style but a mix with what hottopic use to be. I love taking t-shirts and cutting them boat necked or cutting up the back and weaving/tieing it. I love the peaks of skin through clothes especially cause I have tattoos on my back. It makes me feel good to show off the artwork that I have displayed on my body. Dress how you feel and how you want, who cares about what others think!

The fact that I rarely come into direct contact with sunlight, no Edward, motivates me to dress fab whenver I do go outiside in the place called "the public" and also I have a job a part time job so whenever I work a whole 9 to 5 day I make sure I dress super duper fab and I just said super duper so I'll go back inside now *eatz pizza elegantly

You are hilarious! That's so true! Well at least in Germany nobody wears sweatpants. But as a girl, there seems to be only one outfit: basic H&M Skirt (those tight ones), a long shirt, some black tights and ballerinas. Seriously! It's like a uniform here! But screw uniforms :) I dress each day, like there is going to happen something spectacular! Dresses, Accesoires, High Heels ♥

Banana Republic, Gap, H&M and Old Navy are my favorite stores cause its casual and affordable...yeah that's my style. Just cause you live in the poor house, doesn't mean you have to look bad. :)

Im usaully to nervous to dress the way i want but once in a while i get a burst of confidence and walk into school with a skirt over my jeans and a pretty shirt and pig tales in my hair and i feel really good about myself to......but im 15.... I gave my friend a razorback snuggie. Best gift I ever gave. :') Man, I never even thought of dressing too flashy as being a problem. Guess that's what happens when you grow up in New York. My relatives in Arkansas always comment that I look very much like a girl from the big city, and I guess that's what they mean :/

I live in Arkansas and literally every girl in my town wears uggs or sperrys, miss me jeans, a north face, and a vera bradley purse. Every day. It gets so frustrating! Especially since I go to a really small high school and everyone gives me weird looks if I just wear a dress and tights.

I was only half-serious about that. I know that it's not necessarily laziness, most of the US has larger distances, less bike-friendly drivers and more inclement weather than Central Europe. Also, WAY cheaper gas. But I did get these notions from some Americans that I must be some crazy hobo to live my life like that :)

You should also give Americans more credit! There are plenty of people here who don't have a license and bike everywhere, even in small towns! =) We're not all lazy, hahah. But it sounds like you gotta do what you gotta do to be comfy in situations like that for sure! I agree.

in my town wearing jeans, uggs and hoodies is "stylish" and every time I wear my wedge shoes I get looks like "who does she think she is" sometimes it's discouraging but most of the time I don't care and wear what I think looks good together. p.s. uggs may be comfy but they are fugly and look like a club

I dress everyday like im going out in public, and what motivates me is I never know when a cute boy is gonna be where im going, and because I never know when im going any where.
