That town had a great idea. I’m glad you visited and we got to see giant objects, it was a lot of fun, I liked they had several you could climb in or interact with, landscaping was beautiful and it looked like a pretty town. Sorry about Possum 3.

A swizzle spoon is a bar spoon that is a long-handled spoon used in bartending for mixing and layering of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixed drinks. Its length ensures that it can reach the bottom of the tallest jug or tumbler to mix ingredients directly in the glass

Jacob Hood there are different types. There is the swizzle sticks that came out in the 1800s, the swizzle spoons for bars ( which are like teaspoons but smaller and elegant) and then there are swizzle spoons for malts, shakes and floats. They have a straw and the spoons are small and deeper.

That hook in the yarn shop is a Crochet hook. 😊 The "Caveman Lawnmower" is a Tamper, it would be used to level out dirt in parking lots and driveways, then it could also tamp the pitch down in driveways or small parking lots where larger steam rollers were not needed, or could not be used due to space constraints. As for the swizzle and twizzle spoons, that seems to be dependent upon who makes them. They were common in ice cream shops for shakes and floats. The long handle on some models served as a straw, and the spoon allowed you to eat the remaining ice cream.

A jigger, a cocktail shaker and a bar spoon A bar spoon holds about 5 millilitres of liquid (the same as a conventional teaspoon). Its long handle is similar to an iced tea spoon, but is usually decorative and elegant - some variations mimic large swizzle sticks, with a disc at one end. The shaft is typically thin and threaded so that the fingers can easily grip and rotate the spoon.[2][3]

A teeter tottering is one the goes up and down like that one in Casey or your school playground, a seasaw is one that comes with your backyard swing sets the go back and forth like a saw
@sunlitegodis
@sunlitegodis 3 жыл бұрын
Omg- I really thought that a teeter-totter and a see-saw were interchangeable to describe a “teeter-totter” going up and down. Now that you put “sea-saw” I can completely understand why that would be used for the swing set contraption. The action is very much like a saw and I always felt like the movement had a rowing/sea-like aspect. AND FOR THE LIFE OF ME I CAN’T THINK IF THAT IS WHAT I CALLED IT WHEN I WAS A KID. Why can’t I remember if I knew this difference? I’m getting old! Do they even make these for playgrounds and backyard swing sets? They used to be all metal or wood with metal. And it’s so true kids did not care about safety it was about having fun.
