What about doing a multiplier based on the number of hints? So if someone got it 1st after 1 hint, its 1 point. Then 2nd got it after 3 hints would be 6 points. The numbers would be a lot larger of course, but it would make something like Crafty nailing the 1st worth a lot in the standings. Which could allow for some unexpected comebacks.

I thought something similar, just use the timers. Everyone starts with 00:00 and is in hider until they find him. Whoever has the lowest time at the end wins. That way it’s not so bad if you finish just behind someone because they loaded in faster or whatever
