They can't hit you if you're riding on your horse _perpendicular_ to the beam... if you're riding directly toward or away from them they'll probably still get you. Engaging Guardians on horseback is risky business. Personally I prefer to sneak up and chop their legs off with the Master Sword.

To be fair, it's an exploit of the physics engine, not a glitch An INTENDED mechanic/mechanics (blast knockback, shield jump and slow-mo) causing an unintended result (launching a million miles away and being able to glide out of it), an exploit. Not a glitch, which would be an UNINTENDED mechanic causing an unintended result (say if the slow-mo was caused by lag, rather than being a built in part of the game, that would be an unintended mechanic, and therefore a glitch)

I mean, if you do the Divine Beasts early on before you're overpowered, and you don't have as many resources, they still pose a significant threat... but yeah they don't scale at all in terms of health and damage, and especially with the Master Sword they're a joke. Also, I think the 100 years took a big toll on EVERYBODY. I've seen the theory that the only reason all your perfectly good equipment breaks in Breath of the Wild is that most of the weapons and bows and shields in the world are 100 years old and fragile as heck, and anything made more recently has shoddy craftsmanship, perhaps by monsters, or it wasn't designed to be used to fight.

I applied the same philosophy to my current now only run and forgot to account for the fact that Arrows only hold fire for a few seconds and there’s some long distances and arching doesn’t work so I don’t know if I can do the blue fire I’m so close I’m on the last hard one the rest are only a few feet away and I’m on robies but I’ve tried everything and I can’t do it I have golden bow and speed 3 I can’t think of anything else outside of maybe night speed

6:28 You can buy 3 different shields from a guy southeast from the woodland stable, just north of Sheh Rata Shrine (north of the where you are at this time). There's a hill just off the side of the road with a large tree on top, with the seller underneath it. Also, 12:14 I saw this in a previous video, but I wish I knew about it sooner. I remember getting to this part and not having any arrows. I couldn't find any in the dungeon either. I eventually was able to, of all things, throw a lit torch through the hole, which lit the sconce, opening the door. It was amazing. 19:20 WHAT!!

I remember I did a challenge like this on my second playthrough, it was the best experience with the game I had and the rules were mostly to make it a little more challenging and incite exploration and survival, without excluding me from using core mechanics and also not making it crazy hard. So this challenge run in mainly focused on exploration and enjoying the whole game rather than speedrunning it. So here are the rules I used for my challenge, they're quite a few as well. - Every blood moon you choose a bow, a shield and melee weapon to keep and drop the rest unless you make it into a town, a stable or the top of a tower before the cut-scene. You can also get to keep the champion's weapons. You are immune to this effect while on eventide island trial, Lomei labyrinths and inside divine beasts. - Can only eat at cooking pots, can only eat hearty foods when hp is maxed out. (potions you can use anywhere at any time) - Can eat meat from bokoblins campfires on the spot only (can't take away) - Every two divine beasts you unlock you can carry a fairy. Any other fairy you find you have to use right away. - Unlock towers only after completing 4 shrines in it's area, the divine beast and Lomei labyrinth if the area also has one (Try using the map only in towns and stables). - Every time you die you drop the weapon, bow and shield you were carrying when you died. Except for champion's weapons. - No teleport until you have completed all shrines. (You can use the travel medallion). - Help travelers ALWAYS! (You can eat the food they give you right away). - Can only use the champion's abilities when you have collected all the memories and only at Hyrule Castle . - Pro Hud. - Upgrade inventory evenly (shield, then bow, then weapon). - Every time you enter a Lomei labyrinth you can't equip any of the weapons you carry and inside the labyrinth you can only use the weapons you find there. - Master Sword only after completing all forgotten memories and getting the Hylian Shield.

I have an idea for a challenge: no technology run. Can't use any sheika technology after the plateau nor glitches or exploits. No shrines, no towers, no ancient equipment, no teleportation, no divine beasts, no bombs/cryonis/stasys/magnesis. Of course master mode and permadeath (but I'd say you can run away even if spotted, since running away without teleport is a challenge in itself). You can add other rules if you want. Like the comment for him to see this. :)

He did do a challenge basically exactly like this. Using a glitch you can start a master mode play through without the sheikah slate (which locks shrines, towers, and runes) but with the four spirit orbs needed. I think it was called “ultra master mode”

I have no idea why he thinks the Yiga hideout is so difficult. I always found it super easy. Just wait until the guard at the beginning rounded the corner, then climb up that middle rock, wait until he is gone from the way you want to go next, fly over and sneak towards the four rocks. Easy peasy. Climb the wall close to the Yiga dude (not too close he will notice), climb over his head and settle down on one of the areas to stand where the bananas and this weapon are. Throw a banana in front of this guy, jump down behind him when he goes for it, then sneak inside. I always adored the Yiga Clan😍 they are such adorable stupid idiots

I tried this challenge myself, and I was able to beat Medoh, Ruta, and Rudania, before falling to thunderblight But the only difference between Ant’s and my run was that I didn’t know any good food spots so I had a constant shortage of food.
