You can do hyper speed on ice by running and repeatedly pressing crouch. I discovered that by accident but it would probably be pretty useful in speed runs, especially if you have a tanooki suit (That’s actually what they’re called in the Mario games, so don’t try and correct me on that one)

Not sure if this is something you realize in this video/afterward but 3D World is basically a 3D Mario made with the design philosophies of 2D Mario. 8 worlds, flagpoles, 3 green stars to replace NSMB's star coins, etc. That's why Luigi's jump is so floaty too, they brought back the different stats from SMB2. Mario's well rounded, Luigi jumps higher, Toad's faster, and Peach can glide.

But what intrigues me about this port is that it has a much larger file size than the original when many Wii U Ports have a smaller file size. So either it's really badly compressed or there's a lot more to it.

Fun fact characters have different traits. Mario is all around balanced. Luigi jumps higher. Toad runs fastsler with shorter jump. Peach floats when she jumps. Toad is for speedrunners or a hard mode, Mario and Luigi be for fun, and peach is for easy mode.

SMALL ANT PLEASE PLAY 3D WORLD ON SWITCH DO IT it includes: -bowsers fury, a new game -a new dive mechanic -stars and stamps now save when you die -players move faster -when you jump over the flag pole, it teleports you to the top of the pole -snapshot mode from odyssey -online multiplayer -local multiplayer -cat dive now lasts for longer -invincibility bell (invincible tanooki but cat, unlock with cat mario amibo) -you can now skip the cutscenes -blow platforms are replaced with moving platforms -you can hold items without holding y (you still have to grab with y, press y again to throw) -you cant go in shell and stay still, you keep moving even if youre standing still -after beating a level, you dont have to wait for it to save, it saves automatically im not sure if thats all, but i hope you take my advice please small ant, i really appreciate it
