53:29 I think what actually happened was you solved the first section. And talked to the onix which reset the cave but the onix didn’t reset. You then solved the puzzle again and I think the trigger targeted the second onix so you solved the same puzzle but it cleared both onix. No one talked to the onix after solving the first puzzle

I think this is almost right, but it was the fact he forced the onix to turn back around, and the second onix was cloned from it, so it stayed turned around.

Nah Scott, regular qwilfish doesnt evolve, Hisuian qwilfish which is already dark poison is what evolves into overqwil, but still definitely an understandable mistake, especially with it having swift swim and being associated with water through that

There's the 'obvious' scenarios where people do what's expected. It's the scenarios you don't expect them to try that you need to be worried about just as much because there are far more of those.

Thing with the cave puzzle is that he solved it correctly, then stupidly decided to talk to the Onix, after watching it turn around,(opening up the path forward for him) causing him to have to go through the whole puzzle again. If he didn't do that, and didn't use Strength, instead of Waterfall on Overqwil, he could've finished about 10 minutes earlier. There's other things, like not cutting all the grass that could've saved time too, but I feel like most people probably would have cut it all anyway

yeah i tested it and the puzzle works as intended, but if you talk to the 1st onix after completing the first puzzle it bugs out. If you get to the 2nd puzzle, come back, and THEN talk to onix it won't bug anymore, he'll say he wants nothing with you or something along those lines I'm sad because that puzzle was actually somewhat difficult so I wanted to see Ant do it lol

You broke the last puzzle as well. In the fight against Kyogre you start with Gyarados and Wheezing. You damage 2 rounds against Kyogre. Then you are supposed to swap Koffing into Mantine and Roar Mantine into Wheezing. That way Wheezing cleans up the Toxic Spikes, as Mold breaker negates Levitate. Kyogre ALWAYS Roars Gyarados then into Mantine. You self destruct Wheezing next turn killing Kyogre and mantine and from here without the Toxic Spikes you can actually 1 vs 1 Gyarados vs the Overqwil.That way you use the Hints from Archie to BREAK the TOXINE. So I thinks that's the intended way.

Just finished it, had so much trouble with the last fight ... The tactics in this video didnt work for me, cause Kyogre only used Thunderbolt for damage. For anyone still struggling: I had to Roar on Mantine, just after its Bullet Seed did the little bit of damage needed for Kyogre to go half HP after 2 Waterfall and 1 Sludgebomb.

I took down the Seismitoad by baiting a poison jab by having Mantine as lead and swappig to Sableye then disabling that for the Mantine lifeorb clutch. Also, I took the final boss down via that enemy roar swap as well; surprised to learn it's unintentional design.
