I am a Myanmar citizen and Ngwe Saung doesn't fail to provide me unique local experience whenever I visit. Just enjoy the moments and believe me, the locals have no harmful intention to the foreigners. I am not sure whether you depart from Myanmar or not, though, recommend going to Chin, and Shan state, go to hilly and remote areas and enjoy the diversity. Also be aware of the armed conflicts areas, you don't want to get involved to them.
