I just discovered your channel and this is the most hilarious video. I love your brutal honesty, its so funny and also so refreshing compared to most other travel KZbinrs. The ending just reminded me so much of Michael Palin's around the world in 80 days. He arrives back in London to his final stop and he's not allowed inside and its a huge anti-climax and he wants to shout and tell everyone he's just travelled across the world but nobody cares and life goes on. I have subscribed and now I'm going to go back and watch your journey across the world!

Before the pandemic, I went on a 3-weeks motorbike route from Saigon to Hanoi with my girlfriend, detoured over to Danang for a bit. We never got lucky enough to randomly crash a wedding, but I met some of the most welcoming and friendly people on this route. We had some random person paid for our lunch without us knowing when he left. We were so confused when we tried to pay and the owner wouldn't accept the money. Neither us nor the owner speak each other's language, but Google Translate came to the rescue. Incredibly kind people, and the scenery was beautiful.

Im vietnamese, and I confirm a lot from these videos is a lie. Like the random fake subtitle during the first part of the video when he visit rural area like: kill white men or democracy stuff, all fake subtitle. 2nd: the hotel experience, the man doesnt have any bad intention, it's a bit confusing for westerners but in vietnam many hotel like this where strangers live i one room, i think it's the owner fault for bad explaining. And for the airport, not enough context but if it's our fault, im really sorry for his bad experience

I've lived in Vietnam for five years and I love the people here. So friendly and fun. Sometimes you run into slightly shady situations but nothing too crazy. Hope you enjoyed your time. Interesting that you needed a visa just to transit through Korea. Unless you had a self transfer that should not be needed. Ive had several layovers there and never needed a visa.

20:07 the LED sign says “ nhà nghỉ ngân hà “ which is Galaxy Motel. So it was a resting spot (motel) but what i’m thinking was those two guys upstairs already got a room and i guess they wanted some action while they were there. My friend! I have come across your journey only in the past month and have been captivated. As someone who is a bit older and has often had deep regret about not having chosen a different direction in life when younger which might have taken me on this kind of path of adventure through our crazy and beautiful world, I thank you for the gift of being able to be able to experience it through your eyes, heart, and laughter. I have also shared your channel with some friends who feel similarly and they too have come to love it. At some point I recall a woman very assuredly saying that you are blessed. I wholeheartedly believe that she was and is very much correct. You unquestionably have a gift. Recognize it, don't let it go to your head, and you'll be good. Numbers will continue to go up, no doubt about it. It may be the end of this particular journey, but it could be just the beginning of so much more if you wish it to be. Straight up, all you gotta do is keep doin' it. Sending some love up to the sky for your Nan. PEACE and THANK YOU!

I imagine it’s something along the lines of wanting to experience travel the way that it was experienced before google translate, which I can understand. I still choose to fall back on google translate though. It’s so stressful not knowing what anything means in a foreign place. Especially in a bustling city. I actually give him some props for roughing it out the way that he does. I’m sure it adds to the excitement and adventure of it all, as dangerous as it may be. It’s his life and damn if he doesn’t seem to be enjoying it.
