This is a closer look at the Lego Technic engine based on the Citroen 2CV engine
It has a bespoke crankshaft, camshaft and valve pushrod system

NO WAY, A CITROËN ENGINE, rover v8, CITROËN engines, you have good taste in engines from absolutely brilliantly terrible cars, mabe try a styre puche flat twin from the AC model 70, i tried but didnt have the skills =/

Ha, the 2CV was a suggestion. By that time I’d created the inline 4 which in truth is based very loosely a-series engine and the V8 The 2CV engine came about after my attempt on the VW boxer engine I’m currently messing with a Harley Davidson Knucklehead V-Twin. One kinda works, but the angle was wrong at 90 degrees Corrected it to 80 degrees which messed the valves up and as one valve starts to close with the piston rising, the inlet valve starts to open before the piston lowers into the cylinder chamber 😳 Once done, I’ve a crossplane v8 with valves I’m going to play with then I’ll add the AC model 70 to the list 😂 Believe it or not, I’ve also got a 10 speed gearbox on the go to where I need to flip part of the gears to allow everything to work correctly with powered up program I’ve also got a chassis built waiting these bits to create a remote control chassis with changeable gears. You can see bits of it working via some of the clips 😂

Just looking at this engine it has a cool cam follower which pushes a push-rod then a rocker before the valve. Looks complicated for sure If I can get the valves right on this Harley Davidson Knucklehead, I won’t be a million miles away as the only difference is the extra cam follower at the bottom end Fingers crossed I can crack it 🤞
