If you have problems with the extender after it has been connected via an external circuit, that is due to a feature called 'input bug'. Here is the modified version of the extender which works with both direct input and repeater input. Link: imgur.com/iER9Qrg Side note: Repeater input will make the extender give out a weird animation when turning the input off, but it will still work.

could you make a vertical quad piston downward pusher? like where it wouldnt need to pull back the block

Clever solution! Haven't thought of inserting an observer like that!

I can confirm that this does in fact work currently in Java 1.18.1.

This is kinda hard to build with the Minecart and stuff could I have a world download or make it with just redstone stuff

Great video! I would give it a like… but I can’t disturb it. If it goes past it’s current count I will Ike it though, super helpful and smart!

the retraction for the pison for the cobweb minecart thing didnt work so I used a sticky piston and a redstone lamp and It works great vid
@myuen2224 жыл бұрын
Note that for the piston that pushes the minecart upwards, the block above the piston should be any gravity-affected block, not any ordinary block.

I would like to use an input that is not a lever, but I cannot find an input that is perfect for the closing time. Which one should i use?
@myuen2223 жыл бұрын
If you intend to use a button input/pulse-based input, you should hook it up to a t-flip-flop and use the output to power the extender. You can search for various t-flip-flop designs on KZbin.

@@myuen222 I know and tried it already, but it doesn't work when the block needs to go down. I will explain. Any steady impulse is fine to get the block up, but to get it down it only works with the lever and I wonder if there's a way to fix.

I found the problem and was able to recreate your situation stated. The reason behind this is a feature called 'input bug', in which I'm not going into detail of it. Here is a screenshot of the modified version of the extender which works with both direct input and repeater input. imgur.com/iER9Qrg

Um I have a bit of a weird question lol, uh so this door doesn't seem to work for 1.12, and do you know of any design that does?
@myuen2224 жыл бұрын
This only works in 1.13+ if I'm not wrong. I did have a design for 1.11+, but it isn't worth for a video. You can check out my second plot in the synergy server for the design, it is in the former record section.

bro JUST USE YOUR EYES, there are multiple cases of piston budding/quasi connectivity, which almost everyone who has even watched a SINGLE yt tutorial about learning redstone and not some stupid step by step would know that qc only exists in java

Is it tile able?
@myuen2227 ай бұрын
No, mainly due to the usage of dust. If you meant expandable instead, it is expandable but only with major changes to the circuitry.

@Zoomrail2 ай бұрын
@@myuen222 yes it is, just use powered rails and detecter rails next to eachother and it should work fine
@myuen2222 ай бұрын
I assume you're talking about tilability. As mentioned in my first reply, it is not tilable due to the use of dust: Dust will connect each other and affect adjacent tiles, hence not tileable by definition.
@ZoomrailАй бұрын
@@myuen222 wdym if you use rails to update the observer instantly then its the same as dust but without the dust connecting, and you can alternate rails if they somehow power through eachother which i heard happens but can be fixed by alternating between powered, and detecter rails.
