I take my Cappuccino on the highway all the time. I'm a bit more defensive, but it does fine at speed, and is so small it's easy to avoid an accident. Also the Cap comes stock with 63 wheel hp, and this one is modded...it's prob got 75-80whp.

Saw a car today with temp tags and thought "hey a Kei car!" Came here for validation. It was a Cappuccino in great shape. Had a pipe that was just right, nice ripping tone. Thanks for helping me identify it.

Cappuccino is an exciting car. It has power, it becomes an opener, and it excites excessively It's small, fast and cute, so I think there's only one Cappuccino

my dad bought a beat when i was about 8, i remember him picking me up from primary school, it was so cool, then when i grew up i learnt to drive in it lol, thet was fun with its little gearbox, the old things just rotting away in the garage now, blew its guts out when we moved house and we had to tow it like 15 miles lol, id love to get it going again, didnt have a top end at all but it stuck like shit to a blanket around the corners and where i live its all bendy back roads so its really fun but probably a bit deadly if you hit anything that always did scare me

I will fully adnit that it's because of Initial D but I love the Cappuccino and I crushed when I realized that not only did we not get it here in America but it was also illegal to import it. Though dump that engine and drop in a Hyabusa powerplant
@bustersgarage4 жыл бұрын
They're getting more and more legal to import.. once it's 25 years or older, then you're good to go. Shipping + sometimes needing to update things does cost a bit, they are a little hard to find in the US for sale, but do come up.

“American sized” is always annoying to hear regarding height, there are plenty of Japanese people who have a difficult time fitting in a cappuccino or other roadsters comfortably as well. Some of my friends who own such cars both here in japan and back home either fit or don’t but it’s not “Japanese sized” not “American” it’s just a small car.
@DayoftheJakeL4 жыл бұрын
Kei cars are small. Japanese people are small. How many Japanese people do you know over 6 feet. Now how many of them are 6'8". ....... I'll wait.

Jake Ledbetter I live in japan and my friend average I’m in the 6ft range although most aren’t over like (European standards) that isn’t small. I was born and raised in LA and it really much of a big difference in terms of whole population being “taller or bigger”
