Yesssss Smallrig Great job with the integrated V mount battery plate at the back of the light. I love it. Well, done with the video very detailed thank you

Yes I totally agree. Smallrig did a great job designing this light. I’m a big fan of using v mount batteries 🔋

Great review. There are a bunch of guys posting reviews of this light but none of them come close to the amount of information you provided and the quality of presentation that you achieved! I'm on the fence regarding going portable (RC100B) or going powerful (200W or more). Any idea when the "Power Solution" handle will be available? Great use of speed ramps also.

Wow thank you soooo much for your feedback. It means a lot to me. Thank you honestly. I make all my review videos exactly the same. Not only cover the specs and features about the product but also how to setup and use it and final review / thoughts. I am not sure when the power handle will be available. My rough guess would maybe be Jan 2025. I can try emailing smalrig and see if they have any info. As far as going portable. I would say yes. But I say yes because I already have some 150watt lights that are not portable so I have most lighting scenarios covers now with the portable light and my non portable lights.

@@LeoPazzo I might need to try this out…

This light is now honestly my best mobile light solution. Being able to power it anywhere.

@@LeoPazzo battery power is soooooo useful for us I think. Even in a studio or something it’s just nice
@LeoPazzoАй бұрын
@RhettThompsonFilm yea man I totally agree with you. Just keep in mind when using NPF batteries for this light it will only go max 80% brightness. Which is still super bright.

Whats the largest paraboloc softbox you would put on this? Would the 85cm diameter one be alright? Or should you stick with the mini? Thanks
@LeoPazzoАй бұрын
Hey Miles I think the 85cm softbox will be fine. With the mini I have it doesn’t feel that heavy for the light and the light still mounts to the light stand securely. Hope this helps.

@LeoPazzo it does thanks

Smallrig RC 220B looks interesting. :-) Or do you think is 100W is enough for most of the time?
@LeoPazzo16 күн бұрын
100W is powerful yes. But having that 220B would be even better. I’m aiming to get an even more powerful SmallRig light to go with this RC100 B. The portability is the main reason I wanted the RC100B. So many powering options.

@@LeoPazzo good point, thanks for the reply! Yeah hopefully next Gen V-Mount batteries can power it at 100%
