Up until season 8, the slow motion superspeed scenes were absolutely amazing. For TV, it's pretty much the best at the time, and likely is at least the top 5 in 2016. The effects still hold up amazingly well today.

The show was fun, but that first scene was terrible. He's going to fall faster than Chloe, then just catch her? Then, he's going to super run to the top of the dam in an instant, than take 2 minutes to set her down and look at her.... while Lana dangles off the edge? He could have run in at super speed and stopped that first guy, and no one would have seen any powers at all. But bad guy would have been REAL suspicious... more than enough to provide complications later.

Spoiler alert: Still one of the most disappointing parts of Smallville (a show I still love today) was Lois finding out Clarks secret (the second time). It was so anticlimactic. It needed to be big and emotional. Still doesn't take away from the great show or their great relationship.

Ok - First off - This show shits on physics. You can't just stop some one's fall and expect them to be ok because they landed in your arms instead of on the ground. Cloey's neck would have been snapped. Second - Has clark never heard of cameras? The way he uses his abilities, he could be seen on a camera on countless occasions.
