One of my favorite moments of the entire series. The quick reassuring nod before speeding off really puts the button on it. Great music, abd the effects hold up today for the most part. They had a small team and a strict deadline. Really great job every episode.

Tom Welling is always gonna be my favorite Super-Men EVER! He is the most handsome, the most versatile, he plays both Clark and the Phantom, he played Clark under the influence of red kriptonite, silver kriptonite making a paranoic Super-Men. He's the best. Love him.

he's clearly the best superman actor, its just that the writers weren't the smartest. bizzaro is clearly a villain superman fights when he has the red cape. but overall the show is great and he's for sure one the better things about this show

I don't know why Clark didn't just use his superbreath to freeze the water or at least make a wall of ice so the rest of the water would be held back until repairs could be made. Evaporating it would just create a lot of steam which would cause severe burns to any humans or animals in the area.

I doubt he burned anyone since evaporating water goes up, chances are it would have drowned and killed more people and animals in that area than Clark evaporating it with his heat vision plus he didn't learn how to do freeze breath or fly on a massive scale yet this is only season 7 he didn't learn his full potential until season 10 remember....

I know it's implied that he didn't burn anyone but that's pretty farfetched/unrealistic (even though the show is supposed to be unrealistic but I think they should at least keep basic physics in mind). Steam would not just go up but diffuse all over. In Sneeze he did use superbreath on a very large scale when he blew the clouds of an entire storm system away to have a nice day at the beach in the ending of the episode. I mean it's fine the way they did it, what I'm saying is that superbreath would have been a much more logical solution here and it was really underused whereas heatvision was seen so many times throughout the series that it would have been nice to see freezing superbreath. I don't think it was until Upgrade when they showed him using it, yet he should have been able to do that since Sneeze since it's part of his superbreath ability.

Dude it's comics...comics are unrealistic lol, come on now but still given that situation it's realistic enough. There's nobody around, in a practically vacant, isolated forest. Steam in this situation would go up because of how the water from the damn was going and again that would have drowned a shitload of people before a little steam fried anything for a few seconds. Normally he'd use his freeze breath but again this is still learning Clark, he couldn't even fly yet....sneeze he also blew a door from the farm into the middle of nowhere by accident nearly killing Lois had that been a little closer to her.....just saying lol. I agree that super freeze breath would have been better but he hadn't learned it yet and far from mastering all his powers by this point, as I recall he didn't use freeze breath til he got kidnapped by the furies which didn't happen til few seasons after this one. Some felt he should have flown in season 4, 5 since his possessed body has and even Bizarro can with a little kryptonian DNA but the show was very set on the "no flights, no tights" rule....which was kind of dumb IMO but whatever. It's an origin story so I get their angle.
