People keep saying that Kara was poorly used, she wasn't. She was there for Clark to learn more about himself as a Kryptonian. They could have made a spinoff where she says and goes back to detroit. But, they didn't. Show was about Clark and his Journey to become Superman. So, they really didn't misuse Kara at all.

This was the actual ending: Clark says to kara "I know I'll never see you ever again is it weird if cousins well you know ". Kara tells Clark "no, it's perfectly normal for kryptonians to leave a parting gift". Clark is very relieved to hear this, Kara adds "But I am from the city of candor and that is considered disgusting no wonder Lana left you!" She immediately flies away. She immediately flies away.

I actually liked Kara here. She seemed mature, more grounded, finally like her comic self yet in Season 10, she was a waste, not to mention they sent her off to the future without saying goodbye to Clark!! Lame!

I actually don't mind her being on and off again, but wish that when she was on, she was being all super and not weak. But like i said, the fight/action scenes on smallville were underwhelming compared to Buffy, Angel, Nikita, Arrow. But I guess that's not the point either. Lois Lane had more martial arts action than Kara, and Laura Vandervoot (?) I heard actually knows a little martial arts. Oh well.

1:40 I'm gonna be honest, out of the two cousins, only Kal - El and his House continued and preserved the bloodline. Kon-El/Superboy, Kal and Lex's clone. Jon-El/Superboy, Kal and Lois' son. Mar-El, Superboy/Conner Kent's daughter, Martha Kent, in the comic book series. The Kryptonian bloodline is golden on Clark's end, but I don't see Kara contributing much. Does Supergirl even have a son or a daughter? If she does in the canon or in the other alternate universes, let me know. Superman and Wonder Woman have a daughter in an alternate universe, can't remember if she's from Earth-27 or something, but it still counts.

You mean Pentagon. It started in S2 and 3 when Clark got burned on the chest. Then S6 when Clark met a friend of his father's that didn't age because she was in the Phantom zone, she had a crystal in the shape of 5 sides and a stylized S. Then S7 Kara has the symbol on a necklace and bracelet. In S9 Clark starts wearing it on his chest. Look for S9 trailer.
